~The simple beginner Psychic guide by Yzdrazil~
Hi and welcome to my guide about the Psychic class in PWI. The main task by this guide is to help new players get started with their Psychic.Note
: This guide will never be complete. There are so much info about a Psy, so much to add. If you find there is something to add or somthing who is wrong, then comment in the section below thanks b:pleased
1. Stats, builds, armor paths etc.
2. Skills, what to aim to max, what to wait with to max. (a few skill combos added)
4. What more is needed, comment about it!
There are a few builds to choose from, some for more survivalbility some for more mag. atk damage. These will be enlisted below:Pure magic (Recommended for high damage):
1 str, 9 mag per two levels or 1 str and 4 mag every even level and 5 mag every odd level. You use arcane armor for this build. (Note: A Psychics weapon is a Sphere! And nothing else! Maybe a bow for certain quests, BUT you always use a Sphere!)Vit and mag build (I do this):
1str 1/2 vit and 9/8 mag every two levels. This gives you more HP and a little more survivability but I recommend to put focus to the mag. There is sockets, charms, potions, refining and shards to increase your HP and defenses. You could cap your vit to lvl 50 then go full mag.Heavy armor:
I've heard of Psychics being successful with this build, but I don't have any info about this. With Heavy armour build you use heavy armour to boost your defence, BUT you will decrease your damage alot!
I wont go deeply into the skills, you can find info about them by moving your cursor above them in the skill section (CTRL + R) ingame. : Aqua Impact, Spirit Blast, Black Voodoo, White Voodoo(Up to lvl 3, until you want the demon/sage version or for FC runs at higher levels), Bubble of Life, Landslide, Glacial Shards, Sandburst Blast, Aqua Spirit, Earthen Spirit, Earth Vector.2nd proirity
: Torrent, Sand Trap, Aqua Cannon, Red Tide, Empowered Vigor, Essential Sutra.Leftover Spirit
: Soul of Vengeance (SoV), Soul of Silence (SoS), Tide Form, Veil of Shadow.
Skill combos:Make sure you're buffed when you kill monsters in PvE: Black Voodoo if you can kill them fast enough or White Voodoo if you are too weak, I highly recommend using Black Voodoo when grinding (killing monsters).
When PvE killing mobs: Aqua Impact -> Spirit Blast -> If mob comes close enough do Landslide to avoid damage -> Aqua Impact -> Sprits Blast -> And keep going that way.
Another PvE combo in higher levels: Aqua Impact -> Glacial Shards -> Sandburst Blast -> Aqua Impact -> Sandburst Blast/Spirit Blast
When doing BH and you highly want to avoid aggro: White Voodo(well make sure it's on ^^) -> Sandburst Blast(for decreasing targets accuracy) -> Aqua Impact -> Spirit Blast -> and repeat...
I'm not in those levels yet, BUT I can share the information I've recieved by others:
Demon: More towards PK/PvP
Sage: More towards PvE
So basically, if you want to be a PvP psychic you should choose the Demon path.
But if you like PvE more then Sage path is for you!

Aqua Impact:Sage: Slows target by 50%.Demon: Upon hit, has a 20% chance to reduce target's Chi by 30.
Spirit Blast:Sage: Upon a successful hit, has a 20% chance to gain 30 Chi.Demon: Additional damage is increased by 361.
Black Voodoo:Sage:Attack Level is increased by an additional 3
Demon: Attack Level is increased by an additional 3
White Voodoo:Sage:Defense level is increased by 5 more points.
Demon: Has an effect that reduces your channeling time by 3%.
Soul of Vengeance:Sage: No Mana cost when reflecting damage. (YAY!)
Demon: The reflected damage is increased by 4% of caster's Soulforce.
Torrent:Sage: The additional damage is increased by 1200.Demon: The duration is reduced by 3 seconds.
Bubble of Life:Sage: Dispels all negative statuses.
Demon: Reduces Cooldown by 5 seconds.
Landslide:Sage:Cast Range is increased by 3 meters.Demon: Has a 30% chance to add an effect that increases your critical hit chance by 50% for 4 seconds.
Aqua Cannon:Sage: Water damage over 6 seconds.a 30% chance to Immobilize target for 3 seconds.Demon: Has a 50% chance to deal an additional 4518.8 Water damage over 6 seconds.
Sand Trap:Sage: Increases the additional damage by 1200.
Demon: The duration is reduced by 3 seconds.
Diminished Vigor:Sage: The cooldown of Guardian Charms is increased by 1 more second.Demon: The healing effect of skills is reduced by 5% more; that of potions is reduced by 10% more.
Soul of Stunning:Sage: Every 4000 Soulforce you have will increase the Stun time by 1 second.Demon: The fixed Stun time is increased by 1 second.
Glacial Shards:Sage: The immbolize duration is increased by 2 seconds. Demon: The immbolize duration is increased by 2 seconds.
Empowered Vigor:Sage: The cooldown time of Guardian Charms is reduced by 1 more second.Demon: Healing effect of skills is boosted by 5% and that of potions is increased by 10%.
Sandburst Blast:Sage: Effect range is increased to 10 meters.
Demon: Has a 20% chance to lower the target's Earth defense by 20% for 8 seconds.
Soul of Silence:Sage:The Silence time is increased to 5 seconds.Demon: The chance of Silence is 1.2x that of the Lv10 version.
Disturb Soul:Sage: Duration time is increased by 3 seconds.
Demon: Increases the Channeling time by 100%.
Soulburn:Sage: Duration is increased by 2 seconds. Demon: Cooldown is reduced by 5 seconds.
Tide Spirit:Sage: The channeling speed increasing effect time is increased by 3 seconds. Demon: Adds an effect that increases your critical hit chance by 20% for 15 seconds.
Red Tide:Sage: Has a 50% chance to cost only 1 Spark.Demon: The bleed damage is increased to 1.2x Soulforce.
Earth Vector:Sage: Has a 50% to cost no Sparks.Demon: Effect range is increased to 8 meters.
Psychic Will:Sage: The immunity duration is increased by 2 seconds.Demon: Has a 20% chance to cost no Sparks.
Soul of Retaliation:Sage: Heals the caster by 15% of Max Health.Demon: Reflects damage equal to 0.6x Soulforce.
Aqua Spirit:Sage: Water damage is increased by 25%.Demon: Chance for Critical hit is increased by 1%.
Earth Spirit:Sage: Earth damage is increased by 25%.
Demon: Chance for Critical hit is increased by 1%.
