Why should we clerics not put you in the oven and eat you as fishsticks? IJS we (especially the barbs) do tend to want to eat you after stealing aggro b:surrender.

    I've been on both sides (well, all three counting the barb) of this argument.

    I remember multiple times saying "I'll tank this. Heals on me pls" because I had the highest dd in the squad. And what happened? Barb spammed FR and cleric healed barb but I tanked. I died, then the other DD's died because they also took aggro off the barb. If the barb had supported with devour or the cleric had healed me everyone would have lived and the boss would have died faster. The other DD's would have also been able to fully dd instead of hold back for a barb tank.

    On the other hand, some sins don't say anything, go all out, and can't tank even with an IH stack or bb so they die. Their fault.

    This is one reason I'm a gear perver. I want to know how easy it is to steal aggro from my barb, how strong the heals are, or if the sin can tank. If the sin can, the best solution really is to let them. If they can't then form a game plan.

    If they can't but insist on going all out then leave them dead till boss is almost dead or carry expel on your genie and exp them to lower their dmg output :D

    What that guy said. And if I had a dime for every time the urge"tank" went splat and I was stuck tanking unhealed after because the cleric insisted I couldn't do it and focused on the guy who didn't have aggro...

    I don't really get the topic ...

    In trials, there are usually several clerics with devided tasks. Some to keep up bb, some to heal/rebuff when necessary, etc. If the healers can't forsee in advance who will have aggro, they're just not paying attention. If a barb needs spamheal on a boss, he must be low lvl or poorly geared. Unless you're looking at some super though-*** boss, but then a fish would be 1shot with or without IH stack. If the sin doesn't get healed and can't tank the boss on bp, expel/ig/ad+spark and 1 of the barbs will have fleshreamed aggro back by then if you stopped attacking (if the fish is already dead before he/she can react, he/she shouldn't be tanking even with heals).

    Your post doesn't make sense in the context of several squads (including several of each class) with ppl that, normally, know eachother.

    Either way, let me stir the pot by saying:



    If the cleric is unable to predict who will have aggro on bosses, then why is that person a cleric?

    If the sin in question is unable to tank, why the **** are you trying to heal them?


    If the barb is unable to hold aggro, WHAT IN THE **** IS THAT PLAYER DOING IN THE BARB CLASS?

    Yeah, noticed that also after I posted b:surrender. But well, like Saku, I've been on all sides and topic getting old. What bosses is the OP talking about that makes cleric IH instead of BB (I rarely see a cleric IH heal on bh) ?

    90% of the population are sins, so logically 90% of the fail players will be sins, and thus 90% of the sins will be fail.

    I do not know where you guys get this "cleric don't know who to heal" context or that i IH on bosses. To tell you the truth I forgot the purpose of this thread (created it last night don't know why I did it will come back to me).
