you asked how to survive.

well, i dont know
we dont have pvp here
not even a little bit... just a bunch of sins who pop out on immune to kill some squishie and the stealth again for 2 hours till the next white name appears

but i can tell you how i survive in tw

i just use all my squad as shield, even the cleric. they are nice targets
i place myself in a position that makes others get targeted by tab

i enter the enemy base behind other people and ig to shoot aoe in direction spawn/crystal
first wave entering usually dies. but their sacrifice is needed and honorable.
a potato wizard is far from honorable
when you take high damage you shrink away

when you can see your squad is going to suicide on a much stronger enemy squad, hold your finger on holy path
you need 1-2 of them alive to secure your retreat ... when you arrive safely in the shadow of a friendly tower you can ask them "hey where are you? oh you are dead"


whenever i see some friend ranting on random enemy wizards "lol he/she is alays running away. such a coward"
im thinking.. nuuh thats exactly how to play wizard

devasting assault. move out of damage range shortly before dying. rebuild def/chi/charm. come back



te trick, regardless of gear is to get away shortly before dying
so you can use your wiz to the maximum and keep a few dds busy for maximum time


pure awesomeness is when you manage to bail with less than 100 hp
recover and return to killing xd

lunality on dw did this on a regular basis xd so hax

oh and how to survive in pve:
db+expel using a weapon strong enough tp kill mobs in time for expel works fine

at higher refines you can solo PV with that


next way to survive:
marry a cleric / have many cleric friends / offer clerics candy

yesterday i did duo fc with a cleric for the luls
takes about as long as a full 90-98 squad with a few aps ppl

making the cleric pull and using bt to 1shot mobs is much better than pull+db+expel

i see on Sanctuary enough people with a +3 tt99 or sometimes even tt90 wep do caster vana

on a wizard... well, you are not responsible for healing... you just deal less than 1/10 of the other dds... well.. better than nothing

Alteast you have an undine slave with wizzys like that.
Though I once saw a wizzy with that kinda weapon and when I asked him to undine, and he didn't have it b:shutup

Actually if there is only 1 wizzy (and no psy) in a caster squad, it's smarter to not undine. You lose 1 attack in the time you undine, and unles there is more than 1 person, that 1 attack is more damage than the increase from the other attacks you get from undine.

But yes, everyone should still have it

but undine is in my macro and i dont want to change it..
i just need to adjust when i spark, cause then i channel to fast and it undines before undine is off


i think especially on bosses (high def) its better to keep undine up, even when alone
unless you can prove what you say :P
