What benefits do higher level players get from a 'tab'?

I've had assistance from much higher-level players to kill bosses in an FB (such as Qingzi in FB29).

Each time the higher-level player has thanked me for the tab.

What benefits do they get? Experience?

    They get an extra bunch of Exp and some reputation points.

    Everyone in the squad/instance with you gets a quest when you use your tab. Once the boss on the tab is successfully killed, that quest completes and gives your squad members a reward of exp and rep, as well as a "blood" drop. That blood is used in manufacturing the molds you can get through doing draqon quests, but they aren't really used much anymore.

    Short version - the higher level players get exp and rep.

    They basically get the same thing you do only they get more of it.

    Thanks for info.

    I assumed they got useful exp - but then first time I assisted with a tabbing party, I only gained 2.5%. I was lvl69 in BH51 (frostcovered ground).

    2.5 percent is quite alot for a fb
