hello everyone
i was wondering does anyone have the channel and cast duration of pet skills
bec. i want to calculate dmg/sec for my dino with ream v.s. bash.
the dino is a fast atk pet so a small fraction in casting time can make a huge difference in long fights. and pls dont flame at me and say pet skills doesn't have cast bec. if u can look at kowlin casting its atks or bear casting pounce you will find that the animation is running before dmg and after cooldown

    Bash will be better regardless. Lower cooldown combined with the fact that, unlike ream, the damage reduction from ? mobs doesn't apply to it.

    ik bash does more dmg overall due to less cooldown.
    my dino currently has claw strong ream and bash.
    since i am having deficulty agnist magic i will add protect so i will remove either bash or ream. i would like to calculate whats the difference in dmg/sec overall.
    As a pvpserver player i am interested in the non dmg reduction of ream in pvp.
    if the dmg difference is less than 1k it may become very insignificent after the dmg from boss def.
    note: i have already chosen bash for my herc.b:thanks
    btw true are u sure that ream dmg is nerfed v.s. bosses i will have it tested when i am home i thought the rule applied to all pet atk
    I have done the test and i was correct both bash and ream doesnot get the lvl reduction from ?mobs

    Channel and cast for all pet skills are the same. I think someone calculated it once, if I recall correctly it was about 1.5 seconds total, but don't quote me on that.

    By experiment i am sure all skills are the same.
    the number i am shocked about is the 1,5sec why?
    bec. calculating dmg over a 15sec period
    with bash; it is 13atks and 2bash which is a total of 17xpet base dmg
    with ream; it is 14.5atks and 1ream which is a total of 17.5xpet base dmg
    if a shorter fight of 9sec it all turns out in the favor of ream
    bec. with bash; 1bash and 7.5atks which is 9.5xbase dmg
    with ream ; 1ream and 7,5atks which is 10.5xbasedmg
    just a simple note this calculation is only valid for nix and dino a slower atk pet will make it all different.
    and assuming that the 1.5sec is true
