Well well well, a new shiny gaming laptop for the person that can get 2000 people to join the game AND get them to level their characters to 25, I'm amazed they didn't throw in the "Has to charge Zen for it to count" idea as well. Is it just me or does this sound like a big cry for help? Also, how many people do you think will actually try to go for the top prize? b:chuckle

EDIT: Also a Mod might want to let one of the GM's or someone know that the Refer-a-friend link is only visible while on the front page at the moment.

    I don't think I KNOW 2000 people. I don't think I've known 2000
    people in my entire life combined. LOL

    I have to say, 2000 is a tad much.

    Where do you even see this event, promo, contest or w/e u can call it? 2000 people, they are nuts, only way you can achieve it is by spamming social network sites and even then it`s not likely people would want to try.

    If some players draw images for PWI with chance to get mount, then I think, that exist players that will start to invite friends and friends of their friends to get laptop even if they have not 2000 friends.

    In the end we will see winner who will get reward because he had invited most players through his site or through banner system.

    Wow, I doubt that you would even know if you were able to get 2000 people to join. I doubt PWI would even let you know that 2000 of your friends joined. How many people even have 2000 friends, unless your famous? How do you keep track? They know you can't get that many people, but it doesn't matter. Some people will try and no matter how many people join, it's more money in their pocket. If 100 people try, and there are millions of people on these games, and each one gets at most 50 people, thats 5000 new people playing. And thats just calculating 50 people ea. With the millions of people playing, imagine the enormous amounts of new players they gonna have on here, not to mention the new people that join daily anyway. b:shocked

    I dont see it as laziness. Many other game companies (even LoL (biggest F2P out there)has one). if you recall PWI use to have one, except they removed it, and now brought it back and made it much more worthwhile.

    only way i see this succeeding is through telling your friends, fans, and family to repost the same link to their friends, fans, and family until you hit 2000, either through word of mouth, youtube, tumblr, twitter, facebook, myspace, instagram, pintarest, 4chan, wahtever lol. I think its meant to be a challenge... Also... GM Bodyguard! :o sooo, if I go pking gm helps me pwn people too? sounds like a cheaper way than just buying R9 to me.

    Kinda a smart idea.

    Unfortunately the content is kinda...lame up to 25. But it should snag a few people and hopefully, get some more lower level players. I see them quitting in their 30's and 40's due to the emptiness and slowness compared to prior leveling.

    2000 is to much they should lower that amount and give maybe a less price in game, ex: a ocean orb for 50 people, something like that.

    There are people with hundreds of thousands of subscribers on youtube or twitter. I'm not sure if there are any in this community but maybe they'd give it a try for a free laptop.

    Hey PWI if you want to make people come and play this game make it cheaper so we can all afford to pass lvl 25, make more quests because it damn boring when is not X 2 because the drop is so low it's just funny . That is why people dont play this game...they come, they see no drop, no one to help you with quest cuz this game you cant solo anything, you have to depend on buffs and heals and barb to tank, they see all good gear you find in GM pocket or better say his bank account cuz you cant play with the gear that drop and not to say all people want R8+ to squad with you.......So if you think this event or whatever it is will make people play you are so wrong.     A long time ago the black raptor was first given as a reward for Referring 10 people that had to charge 20 gold each.

    Nevertheless like ONE person on my server had it lol.

    The idea of a free laptop sounds neat but if they really want to entice people they should provide a description of what a "gaming laptop" is. If it turns out to be something as gaudy as alienware then pwe might as well forget about it.

    In terms of PWI-related YT channels, the ones with the highest amount of subscribers are a Lost City server person (can't remember his/her name off the top of my head), me, and another person from my server.
