R9 Stage 3

Many people keep saying that there are 2 different versions of r9s3.
PWI Version and PWCN Version.
Many people also say that the PWI version will be replaced with the PWCN version.
My question is, will we be keeping our PWI Version or will we be replacing it with the PWCN Version, and if so, will it be altered to keep PWI "Balanced?"

    The replacement thing is an unfounded rumor. We're more likely to not even get the new set unless the staff here can get Server versus server running properly.

    there was no replacement on CN they have 2 diff sets there ~.~

    PWCN don't have the r93 version that we have. If we are to get the new option from PWCN it is looking like there is no way to switch from our version to the new one at this stage.

    On top of the rew R9 s3 Daggers having -.10 int on them, I've heard some people saying that they also have +70 attack levels on them :/ So not only are R9 +12 Sins able to become 4.0 base APS, but they'd also be able to kill a 25k HP barb just by tickling them.... Wonderful. Here's hoping these weapons don't reach us, that or they get seriously watered down...

    Good thing you'd have to make a new set of r9 to do it though. And get s2, then the new s3 :P That is, if you already have the current s3. Maybe the barb's new s3 armor (since it also affects recast armor iirc) will help against the new s3 sin stuff.
    There once a time when I cared about getting to the top quickly as possible to help others. Now, I take it slow, and don't worry about having nothing to do. There's always something to do in an MMORPG, especially if you are high level. PK'ing is for those who desire to inflate their egos. True friendship comes from helping one-another, rather than to start rivalries.

    It takes 315300 Mysterious Chips to make one warsoul weapon, if you have a 100% success rate.

    You can't get the quest to get another pair of R9. Once you get it, you got it. Once you R2 it, you're currently screwed if this "new" set comes out.

    But KawaiiJen already did several analyses on both sets in terms of stats and set bonuses, and it looks like the new R9r2 is a little bit tankier than the current one, and the current one has more attack power than the new one.

    So basically if we keep r9 at default, we'll be fine when the new recast comes out. The new recast I guess seems more tailored to each class then?

    It's not exactly tailored to each class, as much as the New R9 S3 is a defensive set by the addons as well as the refinable belt, ring. Our Current R9 S3 beats out the New one offensively because of the higher crit and 100+ stat points.

    As you can see so far I complied the sets for 4 classes per request of players.

    Archer
    Blademaster
    Barbarian
    Assassin


    And if needed I can do the others per request otherwise I won't.

    to me the best combo would to go with current R9 armor/orn and get new ring/wep if we do get the new version of r9 st3 that is.

    I'm against it either way. I don't wanna see 4.0 r9 sins walking around, they're OP enough as it is.
