Seekers and Events...

Well i need to say its a nice job PWI...i mean i know its a free game and those stuff, but this is second time from 3 i wanted to be on Remebrence event where i, a seeker cant find a squad, i can kill the mobs, i need like 20m for one...so there is no rewards for me, Tiger event...if i want points i need to do the elder quest or cant get points...Abomination...hmm i can farm 1 PoF...so it seems its just not worth to be a seeker in this game, 2x event..hmm..i have no idea whats Nirvy...never was in there, just like AEU...stuff for seekers? well we have 6 flyers what ordinary ppl can get, other classes? i think everyone knows the answer...im playing only 7 months and im one of those who almost never qqing about anything, but one of those who would like to have a chance for getting a mount from an event, or that i could farm more then 1 PoF...unfortunetly im a seeker and i regret that i choosed this class, i think this was it for me..il stay online couse the friends i found in this game, but thats all, the difference between classes are to high...and for a seeker its just not worth to play...sry to say this but im dissapointed totally :(

    I agree seeker are almost not needed, try to get spot in nirvana caster maybe.

    What level are you? I do tigers weekly and your competing against other seekers how is that unfair? Remembrance tonight squaded with 2 seekers my main being veno I love there debuffs. Seems everyone is reluctant to squad for Remembrance more than a class is not wanted to me. Had a mystic yesterday try and "win" the kill rather than squad together and both get the kill on Ox mob. b:surrender

    My seeker is 101 and yesterday I finally got the Crystallus Cleavers - suffice to say I'm pve oriented because I cant afford the pvp gears :)

    You forgot to mention how **** our skills are to get - I mean the lowest level instance to drop a skill book is SOT or ABO - how unfair is that!!

    Anyway, when you talk about Nirvy I live in hope that the only reason I never do Nirvy is because I never try. All the world chats are for aps runs but have you ever tried to make your own Nirvy run. I assume there are a lot of non-aps players out there that would love to do Nirvy. I have time problems but if I get a chance I will world chat for non-aps Nirvy and see what happens.

    Yesterday I went along for my first Lunar run. Some OP players invited me just to fill the last spot. I wonder what they thought of me taking aggro on the pulls :) No one said anything but I think I showed my worth.

    I love playing this seeker.

    MageMERC: You have no idea how important seekers are in nirvana. Nirvana is not about aps as people often say. Nirvana is about high refines on good gear. I have gone with mostly a caster r9 squad in normal vana run, took us 8 minutes like a usual run. Seekers in normal run are invaluable due to their debuffs. People forget that. If your dd is low, you can still rely on debuffs.

    Same for other places like lunar, warsong, delta etc.

    To the OP, COA = aps business with good refines. But if your weapon has high refines, you can still do coa and be awesome. When i had deicide +4, i only got 2~3 pages to. I got g16, refined it, and i get 10~25 pages now (depending if we win or not). Same goes for my seeker friend, she had a hard time in the start, but once she got the hang of it, she gets a similar amount of pages as i do.

    As for the anni event, as with anyhting you need 1 of 2 things.

    1) Be the most OP person around

    2) Have friends who are friends and do stuff with you.

    seeker is best of both worlds if they know how to play all you need is to get atleats 100def lvs which is easy with omailey seeker buff krav maga and nv gear dont evne need rank9.Since sacrificial takes half def lvs but only transfers -50def lv (which is hard cap on transfer) i get both invites to normal and 5aps nv over barbs and venoes. On tigers i started out killing the lowbie mobs usually i jsut need 1k points to get 8th to 4th place be4 no idea now tho. Eaach boss would give me about 8-15k points from jsut zhen i jsut need boss to be first which is kinda sad gear by starting small and seeker will be 1 of the best classes to do stuf on. I almost forgot seeker is really good in lunar and pv even selling pv runs knowing how many you can survive = like 10-15mil easy a day. Coa we dont need to be there tbh but if you go jaabg gave best info even if you jsut kill those worms should be good for a seeker

    !!!! you should go to caster nv if you have r8 ll be fine, sage seeker debuff are very good in caster nv b:pleased

    i have a seeker and i get along fine,but lol i also have 5 other alts to choose fromb:laugh

    Though i do most work on my sin these days,the otehr toons are jobber/bh alts,yeah thats all this game has to offer.Rinse and repeat **** for 4 years,but its ok its MMO life.
    This game is like washing hair with shampoo... Rinse and repeat if desired.

    Seekers are very useful everywhere, people just don't realize it.

    Nirvy: Need seeker for QPQHF/QPQSS on non-HF/Subsea bosses.

    AEU: Mob control(depending on which 1 of the 3 instances you get)

    I must agree about the events...seekers lose to APS'rs always.

    Not true on lost- Sometimes there aren't 20 seekers doing the tigers event so you should finish in the money easy.

    Seekers are great in casters by the way.
    Those that don't understand that are foolish.
    Seeker mystic veno in my squad combined with my wizard debuff allows me to get hits over 250K (which would be 1,000,000 HP hits if not ? boss).

    My favorite squad for casters is Seeker, BM, Wiz, Wiz, Wiz, Cleric. Use the spirit bore/gemini slash defense level debuff, then the Wizzes spark (and use cloud eruption to recover chi) while the BM does HF and the seeker does Soul Shatter. One wiz does undine strike and all 3 use essential sutra combo (div pyro, pyro, stone rain, div pyro, pyro). Zooming thunder powder or demon wellspring quaff for another channeling boost and do it again.

    If you can do it without a cleric healing, you can swap cleric for veno for even bigger damage boost.

    Not from nirvana, but you can get an idea about the kind of damage boost this provides...

    130% damage amp for fire/earth skills for 20 seconds in caster nirv. That + any wizard/psy combo that would trip spark, sutra and use their fire/earth combos could wipe most nirv bosses.
