I did some searching, and I can't find any info on this.
When you play the game in windowed mode, and you tab out, say to a web browser.
Let's say you wanted to look something up or w/e.
But the game stops updating when you're tabbed out.
It looks paused, and you don't see what's happening.
Is there a way to fix this? I'd like to be able to watch my pet's hp while I tab out.
So I can respond to friends on (insert messenger program here) without tabbing back every few seconds to check the game.

The game does not visually update when not the active window, so says a GM I just asked. b:victoryDo you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

It also reduces the speed of your actions by 50%. Sat you're autopathing at 3.0, minimize the window and you're autopathing at 1.5[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

Here's what you do, assuming you have windows 7 but it may also work on older versions:
While the windowed client is active, hover your mouse over to the start menu. Click it several times (at least 3) then click anywhere on the desktop except the windowed client. The game will now visually update even while the window is inactive. Now you can browse the web or whatever and occasionally hover our mouse over to the client icon in the taskbar to see whats happening ingame if you're running windows 7 and have aero peek enabled (I think vista does the same, can't remember).

Thanks Aurores - Heavens Tear! That was very helpful!
Sucks that every time you go back in game you have to press the start menu like 3 times as you mentioned...
Does no one else know of any way to just trick the game into thinking its active?0 -

1. You necroed a thread.
2. It would be a violation of the ToS.
3. Yes, but read number 2. (If you're smart enough, you can find it by putting some effort into the search.)[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
