Hello, I am going to purchase a compaq laptop this Friday during payday and I was wondering..... will I have an issue when trying to play PWI? Will there be any bugs or what not preventing me from playing my favorite online mmorpg?

I have a compaq laptop and a Dell laptop. One thing I have found is Compaq isnt made for gaming unless you plan on buying an expensive one. The one I have lags very bad and cant multi client on it without the screen constantly going black. and thats when it was brand new. My Dell I can multi client very easily and fast with hardly any lag during. So when you go into the place you plan on buying your laptop ask them if the compaq you plan on buying is downloading game compatible. As far as the downloading goes, I didnt have trouble dl PWI onto it, Just playing is the opposite.

Well this is the one I've been eyeing the past few weeks.
Price $278 and 4 1/2 stars from reviews.

I would consider this about anything with the Compaq label. HP bought out Compaq about 10 years ago. Anything on the market with a Compaq name more than likely is HP unloading surplus Compaq and also not likely to have HP equivalent specs.

When I've compared the two, Compaq branding always comes short.

Another thing to keep in mind laptops run very hot when gaming unless you are using one designed for gaming or have modified the case to assist in cooling. At under $300, I doubt you laptop's GPU is designed for such a work out.

But that is my two cents worth.
