Unable to hatch anniversary mount egg

I went to the Pet Manager to hatch the purple fox in which succeeded. However when I try to hatch the anniversary mount egg nothing happens. I am not able to hatch it. Is there something I am doing wrong or is this a glitch?
I am not sure if the lvl of my character matters but she is lvl 20. Thanks.
