How do i get rid of this annoying safty lock?

So i didn't knew how saftey lock worked and my friend said that if i activate it i will not drop stuff in pk so on accident i put it for 24 hours so i read some posts on the forums how to get rid of it and they say i need to put 1 min in the timer and wait 3 days now it has been exactly 72 hours i have not toutched anything or tried to change the time only thing i have done is click on the safty lock thing to see if the time has already reset yet so does that mean even by simply clicking the safty lock the time will reset????? do i need to wait a 3 days period again?!? what is this for silly ***** whats even the purpose of this saftey lock and time duration why not instead of waiting 3 days waiting make a password like for ur bank pin that u could make one and that if you press it 3 times wrong you need to wait 3 days before you could reset it wouldnt be wayyyy better this is really distrubing cause i can see that low lvl players would accidently activate it to high time and would be like wtf why did they make it so hard? and dont go flame like saying you just need to read better seriously there is a wall of text who the *** will even read that **** for the first time 4 days of gameplay are gone but i am still paying for this game wtf also the ticketing thing is messed up you need to wait like 1 3 days before a reply and sometimes they would not even reply so 1 week no gamply because of saftey lock thanks saftey lock i learned my lesson i will never activate you again from now on only gaurdian scrolls so please help im really desprete
