Doom's Stare 9.0 Base Speed WTF?
Even my purple fox is faster.

    Huh, really? That's a little disappointing.

    Oh well, I tend to ride mounts more as a means of showing off rather than actual transportation, but that's just me anyway b:chuckle

    Well, you have a timed one from the Elite Expedition Bundle, the 10 packs gives an item, and when you have 10 of that item, you can get timed aerogear, and its aerogear from the packs, the "nice" looking ones.

    Of course it's timed, which kills my motivation to get it. Timed for 20 days if pwdatabase is right on it.

    they did give out max speed mounts. Just the new special one isnt wich kinda makes it less special then the other mounts.

    I just NPC everything I get that's timed. What's the point in getting attached to it/used to having it if it's just going to disappear on me? (Blessings are of course an exception to this).

    Use some common sense guys, geez. Snakes have no legs, you expect them to be faster than a swift fox with 4 long legs and a tail for balancing @ high speeds?

    How many pythons have you seen breaking the land speed record?

    God, the idiots these days, thinking a snake should run at 11m / s. Next we'll have people thinking fish can run at 11m on land.

    Fish running? I think they'd be too busy, you know, dying or so, to actually think of running. Much less succeed at it. Even less so at high speeds.

    And something tells me that the fox would just go omnomnom on the fish.

    Have you tried it to see if it's not only a typo, and that it actually run faster?

    It is a 9.0 base speed and at level 11 becomes 10.0.

    PWdatabase seems to indicate that the pack only gives the necklace and the badge thing. So I guess you get that same thing every day, then combine badges to get flyer at the end. Let me know if this is true though.... I'm on holiday now so no logging in to check for me. b:chuckle

    (Though as to the flyer, I'm like the previous poster who doesn't like to get attached to stuff and then lose it. Gilded Ribbon taught me I should just NPC these things.)

    The pack gives 2 items every day you open it.

    An Expedition Badge and a Blue Lucky Star Necklace.

    After you get 10 Expedition badges you can trade it in for a 20 day flyer from the Drake Mirror Packs.

    Hmm kinda ...lame... to give 4 years vets a 10ms mount when the 1 year mount is 11ms. Guess you can show it off longer as you move around, y'know, make sure people can see it well...

    Is the new mount upgradable? if so, then it's a money thing. they want you to spend money again. So basically, you get a free mount, that's slow, then have to spend money to make it faster lol. The same with the Anni fash. I got pink Anni fash and im Male, which means, I would have to spend money to dye it. It looks like ****. I'm not wasting money. I NPC'ed almost everything I got. I appreciate the thought behind the free gift's, but, they should have been slightly more useful. Thanks anyway PWI, nice to get free stuff.

    It's not upgradable... and seriously why are you guys complaining over 1 m/s...... that's an insignificant amount in the big scheme of things.... The purpose of the mount is for looks and say hah I've been here for 4 years.

    And no, you can dye it for free. There are many options for that. The heroic chest promotion was the easiest one. I ended up with an excess of 2k random pigments which I used for people to dye their outfits the last 2 promotions we had and guess what. I even profited from the promotion even with selling the rep badges at a loss to catshops with gold prices valuing them higher because of all the mirages I got from them.

    Not to mention all the Chest of coins from it for DQP which you could further trade for more random pigments or Event gold etc.

    I wonder if the (temp aerogears) will also give the same sorta 'Decomp reward' as the (Permanent~version) does?

    If so, then it seems alot more reasonable too decomp it for (15 mirages) in the end, then to let it expire, or simply pawn it to an {NPC} for the pittance of a sum that 1 would normally get for npc'ing it.
