To get G15 Morai, or not to get?

It would be an excellent weapon for Arma (in PvE anyway) for a few reasons:

-Arma doesn't rely on weapon damage
-60 slaying levels increases damage by 50%
-The weapon often has good HP stats (Vit and HP are the most common)

I'd say it's worth getting just for the sake of having it b:chuckle

I'll do some damage calcs later using my own build since I think we have close to the same gear, but I think for PvE the G15 Morai's about equal the G16 Nirvana axes in dps. I think they still lose out to R9 by about 6-10%, which isn't huge considering its about 99% cheaper. Kind of depends on the blessing you use and any DoTs or other attack levels. But I think G15 Morai ~ G16 t3 Nirvana.

My son is running around right now and I'm about to get him ready for bed then clean up the massive mess he's made in the past 4 hours, but once I'm done I'll start experimenting with pwcalc some.

In my own experience the Morai axes gave me about 1k more hp and at +5 are out dding my +8 R8 I had before. Morai are easy to reroll for the stats you want (200k and 2 days worth or Morai influence) and easy to get 2 sockets. But, they're relatively useless in PvP so you get them and are like "YAY!... I need another set of axes still."

I'm enjoying these, but still am thinking I should have just put that 17m towards R8r axes because those would double for both pvp and pve. Since my dps is done with claws, and yours also, the main reasons I use axes are in tiger form during pulls or for spike damage. Or just because most mobs are 2-4 hits and I'm too lazy to pop human to claw it down for .8 seconds. If I went R8r I could aim for 30+ def levels for pulling and still have had reasonable dph for both pvp and pve. Still, for 17m isn't a bad axe to tie me over until I pick my endgame axe.

idk if r8r is a good choice atm, since mats are now untradeable, you would need lots, LOTS OF RUNS, to get the mats, besides luck, to get oricalcuns and etc. (those days i did some trials and haven't got a single oricalcum from packs.) also r8r has a better chance to get def lvls than GoF or atk lvls. so if i were you i'd stick with morai and farm t3/r9.

in my post i reminded about september's 2x weeks, also i said if he ever get the chance to acquire t3/r9 don't miss it cause the dmg can't be compared.

I am not yet so far that i can afford these slaying level and attack level equipments, but how do these stack:

-Slaying level
-Attack level
-Double damage from weapon proc
-Crits
-Double damage from heaven flame

Do these All multiply ? So if you would have 100% on both slaying level, use demon sunder for a sure crit, heavens flame is active on the mobs and your sacrificial weapon procs you get normal damage *2*2*2*2*2 = 32* normal damage ? This would start to be an interesting armageddon
