That's a pretty foul thing to do.

If he's deliberately and repeatedly spoiling your gameplay, you can try submitting a ticket.
It's unlikely to be helpful though.

Your best hope may be to look at the apothecary powders that massively improve channel. It would give you a chance for your tame pet to complete before the cub dies.

Most people wouldn't follow a schedule for multiple days in a row just to kill the pets. Are you sure she wasn't trying to tame it herself? She may have cast a few DD skills in order to weaken it not thinking (or caring) that you might do the same.

Rare pet farmers are still a common sight on most servers, but if they're stealing your shot at a pet there are ways to get around them without giving in and buying your own pet back from them. If you're lv45 or lv90, there are apoc powders you can use to speed your channeling. Also consider using a genie with some damage-dealing skills designed to weaken the pet (for instance, you start casting your tame skill, then if it's still got most of its HP before you finish, weaken it with the genie). The pet farmer is likely to have endgame channeling powders, so I'd recommend bringing a high level friend with you. Ideally this would be another veno to assist in taming, but any class can help you if they have the genie skill Expel. Expel can be cast on a player and seals them for a few seconds, if they don't have the necessary buffing protections on (and many people don't). But I believe it doesn't stop a skill that's currently being channeled, so you/your friend will have to be quick in neutralizing them.

Keep at it - you'll get the cub eventually.

More than likely that other veno has been farming the pets to sell and since you were there the veno decided to kill the pet instead of risking someone else catching it. That way you'd be forced to buy one he previously tamed from the AH.

"Kill stealing" is not illegal in our game. Remember that monsters do not actually belong to any player, and that the player/squad that does the most damage will gain the majority of the EXP as well as the loot that the mob drops.

The only time that a GM will intervene is if one player begins following another player from zone to zone, attacking the same mobs/harassing them in general for an extended period of time. At this point it would be considered player harassment.

I would ask the guy in the other thread about a WB lured in snowy village that apparently its against the ToS because it ruins player's experience somehow while things like this are unlikely to be considered bannable.

Off course in the first case you get killed while here you're just "prevented" from getting a rare pet,but obviously for some people its more important if their precious red bar reaches 0 than missing a 1-time-day opportunity to get a pet.

Fact: 9 out of 10 veno's are greedy little brats... Unfortunately there's nothing we can do about it on a PvE server... Just keep trying and otherwise just save up for one... If that Veno is killing it it's most likely cause she thinks she won't make a chance when you're there (it's the type who catch them every day for coin) and just kills it instead so you will be forced to buy it anyway and at the same time keep the prices of those pets as high as possible...

Theres really not a chance at taming tbh, its the same on RT, theres a person who has a monopoly on the cub, kowlin, armored bear, and 2 other pets that idk, if she can't make it to tame them she sends a friend to kill them.

I can tell you for fact PWI staff won't get involved...had the same issue on my veno and they flat out said it's my problem not theirs..best thing to do is just buy the pet out right if you really want it...think i got 1 for around 800k

well, then let's have a sexy party over the cub, Call out all your friends and all the veno from the server, and just walk over the pet ...
