How to Level?

Hello All!
I finally managed to hit lvl 69 after tons of questing and dailies. Now I am at a point where quests are few and far between while BH/dailies no longer provide substantial xp. ATM I'm having trouble even getting to the next level. I see tons of Power Leveling ads on WC but I have no coin to join those squads. Some frds told me to use Hyper Stones but they cost so much ><
Any experienced players able to advise another alternative?

Spending soem time in reflection, when you are afk can help a bit, do the quests you can, not for the exp, but for the coins and the drops = a bit more coins. Cons can be used on hypers and buying heads if you're in a hurry to lvl. But i don't think it's impossible to lvl fairly quickly doing bh's, did that from 60 to 70 and further to lvl 75 where my bm on RT is now. Only used hypers twice, from low lvl to 30 (wanted that flyer) and to get past lvl 40 after loosing a lot of exp on being to bold xDMiss my Avatar b:sad

Reflection is your best bet; if you have no money to spend on hypers, or whatever your problem may be... You can just idle in there during the night, or when you are at work.
Other than that, don't really feel bad you don't level very quickly at all; hypers have actually gotten More expensive over time. A set of 5 (Needed for the 12x boost) use to cost about 400k or so, now it's about 600k.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Also, I don't know what your class is, so doing FC for you might be very difficult to learn, or you may serve a very simple role. Either way, you should expect 80-90 squads to be slow, often unsuccessful and people **** up.
From my experience that's how it was in 80+ squads about 90% of the time.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Well you can do what we did in the OLD days.
Form Zhen squads. They are pretty cheap to do for the most part. All that is required is a hp charm and a mp charm if you're a cleric or one of the main DD's(Archer/Wiz/now seeker)
At your level the best thing to zhen is probably Pirates by the ship in the corner of NightScream.
Have the archer (if there is one) duel the cleric or primary tank who will have agro (seeker) start to kill the target, but before killing them set barrage on the target. This will keep barrage running infinitely even after the duel is over as long as you mp pool is sutained.
Have the wizard and or seeker set up their AoEs in a Triangluar formation and the Cleric has BB in the middle. Have 2 classes pulling mobs (BM/Barb/Veno/seeker are all good for this) to the zhen. Use at least an Eso scroll (which are free from the token shop in COREConnect) and enjoy the exp and drops which should cover the repairs etc.
Generally a squad consists of 1 Cleric 2-3 AoE DD 1-2 Pullers. Remember more people in the squad means less exp per but can potentially outweigh with faster exp income.
Hope this helped. b:victory[SIGPIC]http://i48.tinypic.com/2r61kw3.jpg[/SIGPIC]

with the current rep sale, if you buy 45 silver worth of rep (roughly 800k or less) you will get 25 heroic chests will almost guarantees you 5 hypers, and a bunch of mirages/DQ points to boot, you only have a couple hours tho[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Well why no one mentioned Public Quest 1?
If you can solo Public Quest 1 boss(even by getting healed) 10 times a day with Hypers(yes you should at least try to get 5),you'll get to 80 in no time.
If you DON'T have money but you still want to level how you will deal with equips when you'll be higher since you won't be able to afford em ?
That or keep doing BHs dailyThe only way to beat a troll is....to troll him back b:angry0 -

Interesting... my psy gets 20-30% from her stack of BHs and around 10% from crazy stone, which felt substantial to me. She made it from 69-70 in two days between that and a couple of quests and some grinding. I guess if you bought hypers and grinded it would be even faster, but I have never used them.
I find it slows down a lot more in the 80s, and if you are someone that doesn't bother with FF like myself, this is where it comes in handy playing a couple of alts. You can only take so much grinding and you do run out of quests, so switching chars can give you a break.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

At the current state of the game, the free players put prices of everything just for the cash -shoper players that can buy it. If you are not a cash-shopper and dont have many hours to play the game it will be a pain to lvl from 60+.
There is something that some players have been doing lately. People spend once like 50-100 $ on packs, preferably the one that came with the demure-darklord fashion. Then open them all, and sell the fashion and the -3 chanelling shrds for like 40m-60m (depending on the demand). Then graz!! you will have 300m or more in just few days, then buy hypers from the cat shops (about 100k each) and buy some plvl in ff (100k-200k run) and youll get 80 in no time. once u get 80 you will still have loooot of money to lvl urs skills and to buy from ah the tt 80 gear already shared. Then start doing normal ff runs. You will be 90 in no time.
- But I would like to make my own gear in tt!! Srry but thatn wont happen ever. People steals drops or fight for the drops once you in tt. Do not do random squads. Dont buy the tt mats at the cat shops, is cheaper if u buy the gear already crafted from ah.(even though is very expensive)
- Ill continue doing bhs!! wrong, drops are not only **** but people will fight and argue for it, and the exp is bad.(bh69 and 79).
Hope this helps.

Do not assume that according to this post you can spend $50-$100 on packs and get 300mil. In most cases you will get nothing but tokens of luck and lose A LOT more money then if you just sold it in the AH to begin with.
Not everyone steals mats in TT. And that's what factions and friends are for then.
The EXP isn't really that bad. I honestly don't know why people say the only thing to do is get powerleveled. How do you think we did it back before sins were implemented in the game and before the APS craze and the Plvl craze?[SIGPIC]http://i48.tinypic.com/2r61kw3.jpg[/SIGPIC]

I dunno, I foud the BH rewards to be more than adequate. With proper stacking you can get a decent amount of exp by doing all 3 Bhs in 2 runs or even one at times.
Also, BH69 is like the only one where a barb is a must! Often enough you will find shouts for a barb (with free wines for BH69). Plus you basically control the BH. Interrupt on time, keep enough chi spare for a emergency invoke, save enough energy on genie for a ToP cast etc. and no matter how cruddy your squads are you will make it through.
BH79 oth, can be a pain to get squads for (forget about free runs here), but its easy enough to do. Often enough if you just doing Stygean, you may be able to find a squad willing to do it unwined. And as for crappy drops, I say **** the molds, Im after the DQs. More often than not they alone will cover your wine split.
Then theres also WQ. You dont get a lot of exp, but hey you dont get the grinding costs of repairs and pots either.
Finally, another good source of exp is cube, tho I wouldnt recommend running that until you have at least 1-2mil coins you can carry aroud in ur inv.
I only really felt the need to hyper FC from 98-99-100-101. And that too once my gears for the next level were ready. b:laugh
Also, just a note, dont keep hypers running throughout the instance. If you plan on doing multiple runs all day long, you only really need to activate them once each run for bigroom pull and the following heads. That way you can get upto 10runs in a day and save on the hyper duration.
If you only doing one run a day though, Id actiavte and deactivate them for third boss onwards and last one for big room.
Just my $0.02
EDIT: also at level 95 the Morai quest line gives awesome amount of exp, and after that the Morai dailies too have a good exp reward.Old school demon tank -> LESS PEW PEW, NO Q _Q

O_O no exp reward from bh ? On my lv 83 veno I get like 10% for BH 1,2,3 in 69 ...
Then add Crazy stone, meditation, a few quest, FC Hypered etc ...
I think it's fair exp[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

I've myself have never been in a zhen squad, but always wanted to try one.
Maybe when I get to that level range on HT I'll have some luck with that. *nudge wink*b:cute[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

That requires everyone to play again. Over the last week the activity of that event I was hosting dropped to nothing. There is only Venus and myself that actively are on it anymore that I've seen.
Everyone else either gave up and went back to their mains. was doing it until the new game came out, something happened to them, or they just stopped caring.
In either case if you would like I can still show you how to do one with higher levels (Though we will faceroll the mobs.[SIGPIC]http://i48.tinypic.com/2r61kw3.jpg[/SIGPIC]

All I can say, is don't be in a rush to level. Game dies. Turns from a goal oriented game to a have-oriented. I have no contempt, is what is. take your time and enjoy it. You don't have much time left. I envy you.0

I log my veno yesterday, she was at 12.1% (lv83). I put her in the meditation space while I did dailies on my cleric. When I was done she was up at 16%. I then decided to solo 69 on the cleric and veno. Took me 1H30 to clear it not wine, Then I put her in meditation again while we did 2 trial. She's now at 32%....
And she got 5 more quest from bh...
if I keep this up, it takes 10 days to lv from 83 to 84 ... Back in my time ( yeah I know ) It took like 4 week.
And she still has bh 79 to do ... Stack ...
Just ... yeah well .... IDK.... like .... Go kill stuff noob ![SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
1.- Spend $100 for hypers, guardian scrolls, etc.
2.- buy a bunch of hyper stones
3.- Grind with hypers until the point you have enought level to enter fc
4.- glitch fc
5.- ????
6.- level 1050 -

FC Glitch doesn't work anymore
And I can't help but notice the OP either copied my name or its complete coincidental.0 -
Try Pheonix Valley...not sure what class you are but find a group to run that every day...gr8 exp just in that0

from last post, veno was at 32%, I decided to empty her quest log. She had like 12 divine and 2 lv quest. Over all I spend 3 H on exo and hyper 12x and I got to lv 84 + 11% ....
That's like 6 mil exp on mob and quest reward alone in 3 hours ...
OK I think I made my point ![SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

i wonder why no one mention about Public Quest. Public quest is really good exp and u can do over and over again. some ppl still do this, and also u can ask ur faction mate or ur friends at ur level to do it together. I use to do this at level 60+ and its really fun and good exp. U dont need hyper since the exp reward it self are pretty good.
Second is cube of Fate, well u need certain amount of money at starts such as dice ticket (some ppl sell 700 to 1k each ), do all card (u can get from dq rewards or buy 25k each from catshops) and around 200-400k coin. maybe u need money at first but the reward page of fate will give u the money back.
Third, BH as many people already mention.
fourth, for a non CSer, questing while farming DQ and herbs are still a great income.0 -

Well, once you are done with your quests you wont have more quests for sure... Maybe you can get one or two more quest because you lvl'd, but you won't get enough exp unless you step in FC, which is I don't like.
The traditional way is too slow, but FC+BH is away too fast. As seeker I did all my quests 1-100, but I feel like I didn't enjoy the game like I was suppose to.BungaSakura - Raging Tide wrote: »i wonder why no one mention about Public Quest.
