    At least they tell you the odds. Then at least you can make an informed decision. They'd probably be better off not posting the odds until the packs were out for a week or so. Dragon Orb / Anniversary Pack Sale Please!

    Unfortunately, I don't think this will ever happens because the new player get use to the gold exchange an they think this is a fair trade since they don't know what it was before.

    PWDB is an unofficial site. PWE themselves have never even hinted at the odds from anything out of a pack since they first came out, only the items that you ''can'' get from them.

    There's still a fair part of the playerbase that doesn't know about these fansites (like a few 100+ that were amazed when I told them they should try out their future build on PWCalc), so they'd probably sell a good few packs even if they had a 100% chance to give tokens.

    PW database may be an unofficial site but it is accurate.
    It pulls data directly from the files itself.

    For example, the percentages on the packs come from the data within the quest itself (the quest that appears when you open a pack). This would be the tasks.data.
    Since the tasks.data on the client and server are identical (if you were to make any major changes to the file, you would get a need to update error when logging in), the quest data on the packs (which include the percentages) are indeed correct.

    PW database is nothing more than some guy running scripts on the files to pull out 100% accurate information.

    I don't remember him doing that but I wasn't as active on the forums as I am now so I probably missed it.
    He probably either didn't know the true values himself or he got embarrassed the values got leaked and wanted to try to cover it up a bit.
    Knowing spoons, he was trying to do it to avoid making people angry over the whole and decided that calling if unofficial was enough to question it.
