Demon passive crit question

Hi all,

Tryed to search but didn't find the answer.
Demon veno can have passive crit 2% from wood mastery as I see and its displayed in the status window for both human and fox form.
I want to know if the melee mestery's passive 3% crit effects spells also or does it only apply in fox form?
If it does not as an arcane I have no reason to lv the mastery and try to get the book but if it DOES, 5% crit from the 2 passives b:dirty

    It only applies while in fox form.
    Seven 100+ characters leveled the hard way. Free to play. Mystic, Psychic, and Wizard left to level. b:victory

    It only works in Fox Form. I would still recommend leveling up Melee Mastery, regardless. Getting the book is optional but the boost of the skill isn't too bad, besides two of your 4 offensive AOEs are in Fox Form. There's also the AOE Myriad and while you're in Fox Form and waiting for the cooldown you might as well throw in some Befuddling Mist if you're in a Delta, Warsong or other AOE situation.
