if you do have feedback/suggestions would be cool, but I know alot of the mistakes I made.

like not fully utilizing SR stun/not ticking charm after mortal (when it actually works). and not just going for the kill w/o MS. also im more preoccupied w/ o****armaincoming wen I see barb in human form then seeing it as a kill opportunity.

yea big thing was not being aware of enemy chi level, would have gone for kill more if I knew he couldn't invoke/spark. Didn't try 3 sparking as I figured he would just apo/kite/invoke.

I have 61 atk lvl w/ jones and 8-9k pdef self buff, 8k hp, 9% crit. 1/2 hp ulti crit w/ undine and EP is not really viable vs most r9 opponents.

anyways my play is pretty repetative as I only really 1 kill option vs and r9 barb (hes savant not josd), instant chan spark n fire >_> but also predictable usage of my CC's. I should work on developing a style where I constantly spam quaff and just build chi off of ridiculous casting, instead of my CC CC kite kite, wait for enemy to use genie quaff MS spark fire.

also too much random undines and not really making use of the full quaff time, essentially using it as a 1 spark sutra.

my genie is also 120 dex as I have a neruosis about boc failing, and im 101 so my affinities are not what I would like.

tl;dr hope you enjoy, it is something different from standard wiz.

p.s. was trying to cancel MS and make him use SS which acutally worked once and then i fked up (d pyro before spark stupid cast speed). but its really hard to fake MS since I cast it in like ~1 second. later on was trying to just cast the stupid MS to get him to SS and then white tea go for kill. would have been smarter if i was saving spark for SR proc.

p.p.s. these weren't all the fights it was like 1-6 or 1-7 but I did win atleast once

cause he was liek herpderp didn know u cast so fast :P

biggest thing i noticed, you were fighitn ghim on the ground. dunno if it was discussed prior to the 1v1 or not. also, you tried to jsut out run him several times. wizzies are barely faster hten barbs with holy path. good cc spam, as for the channeling build go for 2nd cast r9. purify on that build would be all kinds of epic.

haha ty, yea ur right ofc, i think its a sanc thing /inb4lolnubpveserver but if u watch our 1v1 pk majority is on ground wereas 1 squad group pvp is air and mass is ground again idk why ~_~.

personally I hate accel/decel time from no movement in air (though 120 dex windforce is amazing), i take a lot of small steps like cast skill start moving (did it proc?) cast again etc... though im not debating that air would have been better for staying alive ofc. i actually did go into air for a sec and just b:laugh cause i felt bad that im just continually ticking him w/ very few actual threats.

for me i felt the issue was more killing him then kiting, but ty and good point should practice fighting in air more anyways.

-9 on chest is -6 since r8r bonus is now -6, extra -3 on r999 from -3 rune. too bad id still be so squishy and die before purify

Interesting vid, it's amazing how effective those control skills are when you can get as many off as quickly as you do lol. I'd second what nurfed said.. air fights are invaluable against barb/bms, not only do they lose their run speed advantage.. but you have an instant half damage out by just dropping. For the ground fights though, I thought your kiting was great, especially liked the spatial reversion when the barb anti stunned. I should probably just watch again, but I can't remember if you were hitting pdef charms after devour, but that might be one way to help against those onslaughts if you hadn't been doing that.

Probably my approach to killing him would have been to build full chi, force ss with your fire combo (should end above 3 sparks).. then as ss ends get him as close to 50% as possible, triple spark -> try for a bypass (maybe sleep in between). Probably GS would be your best bet, but if you timed it just right.. spark will come off cd 20 secs before ss, and you could try d.pyro or something in that short window (with spark ofc). This all assumes you could get up to full chi, and I really don't know how your chi was going. Might be necessary to use apoth in this combo as well, but that would be a decision best made in the moment I think.

I'm not experienced in playing wizard, but i didnt see that you used Life Reversion morai skill that Mark an enemy player's current HP, causing the target to revert to that amount 6 seconds later. Ok i know it not 100% successrate but if the barb has around half hp then use it -> dont hurt him for 3-4 sec just run around or something like it. Then attack him to make his charm tick -> 1-2 sec later he will have half hp and you can try to kill him.
I know he can survive too with genie skills or invoke or his Cornered Beast skill but it worth a shot.
And yeah from your perspective would be cool to see next fight b:victory

50chi is a lot for a skill that isnt all to useful. I heard that cn is trying to downgrade the cost to 20chi which isnt bad at all. Also the upgraded versions of hte skills have around an 80% chance to work.

ty great advice. I actually did use mortal but he iced me, and it was used atleast twice more though in the fights not recorded.
