arrows question..

hey guys..just a quick one...

Does anyone use elite arrows ever lol? if you do then where do you use them mostly?

I sometimes get them for cheap in AH ..i like them cos they look pretty cool like pewpew star wars lazers b:laugh

    Not really. Base arrows are way cheaper and way better.

    I use what i find on the floor.

    Sometimes Dragonattena or w/e they are called. These come from my veno while grinding at OHT mobs

    I have a couple hundred Elite Arrows from a couple FB's. Mainly trying to get rid of them by using them in TW. Stocking up on Guild Base Arrows.

    Currently have over 110k+ Phoenix Feather Arrows and 50k+ Dragotenna Arrows. All from drops/friends' drops.

    I have never, ever encountered an instance of an archer running out of arrows. Every archer I know has...literally hundreds of thousands of arrows...

    Why is this mechanic even here? So that all the non-archer classes can get annoyed whenever they accidently pick a stack up?

    Actually the maximum arrows you can have in your arrow slot is 50k...they should increase it to 500k so I don't have to bother with it ever.

    I had 150k arrows that almost lasted me a year, until i started doing deltas and trials all the time. Go through like 50k a week lol.

    I believe it's intended as a coin sink, though it is poorly implemented.

    If you consider the original six classes before any expansions, venomancers and archers had the lowest costs for basic gameplay. Little repairs, little potion usage. I thus theorize that arrows were supposed to be a comparable coin sink, if you always bought the most effective arrows that you can use.

    I remember being in my level 20s or 30s and always using the most expensive arrows. It was something of a pain. I then tried using the cheapest arrows and found that I saved a lot of coin that way.

    I used to use elite's for pvp a few year's ago when I still pvped. My faction doesn't have a base so I still have some just for the hell of it though if I ever do anything important.

    My experience has been that by the time I find elite arrows in any reasonable quantity my bow has out leveled them.
