So yesterday I spent a good portion of an hour PKing at west. I was having a great time against a fellow BM (He's much better than me). For some odd reason, he summons a frd of his to assist him despite the fact that he pretty much won every encounter. A 1v2 then turned into 1v3, then 1v4. I was getting roflstomped pretty much instantly. My frd decides to help me then and we managed to down one of them (A seeker). And then...
HOLY **** the flaming insues

"Why did you gank you a**hole"
etc.
I layed flat on my belly dead (they zerged me again) wondering wtf is wrong with them.
Later, a sin that I could see (I'm a higher lvl sin), decided to wander around west with PK active. Well, I killed him (I did have better gear, barely). And then...
"YOU FAIL FOR A FULL R9"
"YOUR A FKING NEWB THAT HAS NO IDEA WTF SHE'S DOING"

It sounds like you expect to much from the majority of humanity, or the very least our community.
A majority of them are sore losers, it's just the way things are. Can't fight it, can't QQ for a change, just have to accept it.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Yeah, it's why I don't PK as much as I used to.
Either they just sit in stealth and wait to gank you, or they complain their ***** off when your marginal R8 gear trumps their R9 just because you actually know how to play.
I still get some humor in occasionally dropping someone in the 40-90 range running around white-named just because I can and they won't expect it. (Why they don't expect it is beyond me, I mean really, we're on a PvE server, they knowingly made the change.)
In the long run, most people in PvP now are either Stupid, or spent too much on their gear for the battle to be worthwhile. PvP is essentially dead now, and the system was broken from the beginning.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

I don't see why PvP is worth the effort.
The Grief-to-Fun scale leans too heavily in the Grief side for my tastes.
I used to occasionally stalk West on my cleric to buff people and watch them battle each other... that's when PvP started to look really boring to me... since most of the time it was just 2-4 people actually PvPing while everyone else just stood around.
These days don't people just PvP to farm drops off players who forgot to turn safety lock on? b:chuckle0 -

This actually sounds like a reasonable excuse for it. I do not want to believe they act like that in real life as it sounds so pathetic.

It's the spoonfeeding. The QQers can be best described as ''newbies''.
Basically the people that would have ragequit before they hit level 40 if they played 4 years ago now get rewarded for their impatience and can breeze through the levels.
The slower leveling curve basically acted as a filter for community quality at higher levels (sure there were still high level a-holes, but at least they were dedicated).[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

LOL I was in South Arch a bit ago and some kids were dueling.
Then they start calling each other fail for using pots, genie's ect and keep adding more and more rules and limitations.
It's a fight to the finish guys, you do what you have to do in order to win. That's the point.

PVE servers doesn't necessarily mean its PVE heavy. In PWI, PvP and TW will always be end game no matter what.
I don't have anything against cash shoppers. If they don't have time in game to merchant or farm, CS'ing is the only way to keep up. CS'ing doesn't imply they are horrible players, which unfortunately, is not seen as such. In HT, if you cash shop, you fail; yet almost everyone on HT with gear is a CSer but refuses to admit it (due to the fail tag you get once its known).
A lot of my frds are wallet warriors and they're PRO. Far better than what I'll ever get to be.
The only ones with Epeen issues are the ones from GD. Most of them at least.
I get so much hate for CSing b/c i openly admit to it.
They usually shut up once I tell them its pocket change for me cause I don't fail IRL.0 -
People just mad they lose. It's natural for faction members and friends to help each other. Don't expect people not to join in unless both parties declare 1v1. Even then, somebody might show up and just start attacking lol...Then again, there's no need for anybody to QQ either. They go PK I don't know what they expect.
What you should just do is get your friends together too and just start mass PvP.

100% agree. I hate those ppl that $ rush through this game and whine about content/pk/balance etc.
What i hate even more are those that flame others for cs'ing while, in most cases, they cs'ed 10 fold.0 -

We ended up having more ppl join the pk which in turn did result in mass PK. Was fun... until i read the chatbox

lol yeah i remember when i first hit lvl30 and raged and QQed when i was first got farmed pked............then i grew some balls and accepted the fact that if your a white name your a target if ya dont like it stay under lvl 30 or go to pve server and stay blue named........yup so young..........good times.....good timesb:pleased
but anyway sometimes it happens because the person is having a bad day or just not use to it yet its a common thing with most (not all) pk virgins. Some out grow it while others just be stupid and keep in white name or a pvp server and expect special treatment when in reality.......no one really gives a damn cus once your name is white as far as everyone know...........your just a another mob just might be harder to kill or really easy to one shot. But not gonna lie some of the responses you get when u pk them are pricless...........lol.......il peal the skin off your pen*s LOL still cant get over that one LOLb:laugh0 -

I wouldn't worry anyway. Perfect World's little psychological project was good when we had to earn things. That is what keeps playing and that is fine when you declare it. The 2nd patch update was all right but came to late so I wouldn't worry about it

Die some more. Hell @ 103 you lose like 0.1 XP and that is like 1.3 million where is the justice in dying like that and losing that amount of XP. Oh well it is probably a problem in that developers never anticipated that people would get up to level 103. b:laugh
On the bright hand side, we can look forward to more free-to-pay-to-win shovel ware in the future from our wonderful respectful chinese developer. Unless they start to develop something that isn't exactly just that shovelware or where there is a funny cosmetic way of dying.
