The game is dead man. I tried making a caster nv squad and wasted 200k in teles simply trying to get 2 random DD's. I never even asked for weapon link, NO REPLIES. NONE. Are there simply no mage classes on the server that feel like making coin in 15 mins or something? Seems like everyone just wants to CS to make coin. It also seems like when I turn this game on it just sits there on, waiting for a random world chat asking for a squad. SO fkn lame, and boring.

    hasn't this title been used before? since maybe... 2010?

    some days are poopy to say the least, but hot damn, at least you get into nirvana, but nu uh, not a barb... not unless im OP as **** and can keep aggro VS. 5 perma sparked sins

    yeah yeah, people say 'just find some friends to do it with :D'

    I agree with Lolgasmic - on some days (and certain times), it becomes pretty difficult to find other casters for it. Try your luck again at a different time/day (and look out for Lunar BHs days since its the hardest days to find anypony for it) and maybe befriend some of those who perform decently so you may not have to WC as much~

    Seriously though, I find that the "earlier" in the day (I live in one of the western coastal timeish zoneish thingies) you try to get things done, the better the chance of finding a squad to do it. Caster is tricky too since you have to have those whateverthey'recall'd stupid timed key deelies. Frankly I can't be bothered most of the time, I just trade'em in b:laugh

    Try to get an -actual- (no lvl 100 op helper breeze through) BH that is 89 or lower and see how many hours that takes.
    Someone once told me they were WCing -all day- for a Metal squad <.< One Delta squad I joined couldn't start because no DD wanted/could come. Doesn't happen all the time, but I wouldn't call the game dead over it D: Unless I was a hyper-active drama queen <.< I don't think I am >.>

    Besides I thought everyone knew, everyone on Sanctuary stands around all day CSing >.> cuz that's totally true <.<

    It's not dead, it just depends on the time of the day, the day itself, and if people feel lazy or not...

    One of the last times I tried forming for FC, we were 4 (me x2 + 2 fac mates). I found a DD, spammed WC for like half a hour for a healer... gave up and just tanked everything with crab meat. Team offered me to sell big room to make up for teles, coulnd't find a buyer either. That was a quick "to hell with it". Didn't take that much longer to run either. No one died.

    Last run I had, found a healer in 5 minutes.

    I think the reasons for Fox's problems could be this:

    1 - for a long time up until a month or two ago, there were lots of OP people doing caster with the usual 'link weapon' or '+5 or better" or 'R8 or better' etc, so people like me just never gave caster a thought. I have seen those constant requests for casters and second clerics etc and I admit, I just ignore them. I have been so conditioned to being not wanted because of my lousy TT99 weapon that I really dont even register that people are asking.

    2 - no one cares to farm Nirvana weapons anymore because either A/- they wont be here after August 28 or B/-they think most everyone else wont be here after August 28 or C/- not sure about A or B so just waiting to see if there is any game left after August 28.

    The whole phrase 'the game is dead' is like saying my old xBox is dead. In actual fact it works fine but I havent turned it on in years because I have better options. Whether or not this game is in fact 'dead' will be decided, finally I think, within the next 3 months. Either the August 28 game we all know will pull away the players permanently or it wont. I believe it will. I dont think people are having 'fun' here anymore. It seems more like people are just going through the motions, like sitting and playing Sudoku or something.

    I think it depends on the day/time.
    Sometimes people have already used all their talis, or the bh for that day is lunar and so few do it, thus resulting in no talis again.(as mentioned earlier).

    Just because there's a bad day doesn't mean it's dead.

    caster is alive and well on DW everyday, 2x or not. And yep, it depends on time of the day (earlier the better usually) and the bh of the day (lunar days are slowest). This holds true for both finding running partners or finding openers

    Well how much are your uncannies? On Sanctuary they are about 250k. People would rather do BH. Nirvana has long been dead off of 2x.

    for a mmorpg its a shame if you cannot find SIX people to do 1 instance.....(any time of day)


    maybe people should wait weekends i heard most of people not working that times

    or even better....just wait few months for x2 (also must be in weekend)


    pwi lost most of their player base thanx to briliantly smart devs b:pleased

    When PWI finally starts to die, they will release PW Classic (P2P version) player housing. Best way to keep people lingering around and spending money. Some folks spend even more ridiculous amounts of cash on housing than people here spend on gears.

    Oh wow, Uncannies on HT are roughly 320K currently, with lots of people going G16 Nirv and such.

    Not sure if it's general or simply related to me personally, but I stopped doing caster with random squads due to an increasing number of paranoid "YOU SCAMMER !!! GIMME CANNY !!! YOU LIE, YOU STEALER !!! RAAAGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEE b:angry" persons in those squads. So lately, I pretty much only go with friends and totally ignore wc for something that involves opeing boxes.

    I tend to do things with faction and keep world chat off for the most part. Just get a general group of friends who you will always farm with and go with them.

    There is also the factor that sometime people are not in the mood for caster nirvana or more to the point no longer have a talisman... you only get 2 per day provided you do BH... if not 1 and not everyone is going to dedicate themselves to getting 5000 points in Corona.

    It depends on daytime and ppl`s mood i guess.

    OP is right the game is decaying.Its not dead but its aquired some bed sores with worms in it.
    This game is like washing hair with shampoo... Rinse and repeat if desired.

    It couldn't possibly be because no one wants to run it with you or you as lead. It's not like it might not be the right time of day or the right day. It's not like I can see anything wrong with someone that uses such a title for a topic.

    I have a list of people I'm avoiding when going to caster nirv.
    And it's not small list. Only small amount people on that list are scammer, 1-2 people.
    Others are just players who are really, really bad at playing their class. Clerics who goes AFK on boss, clerics who let mystic heal and goes into DD mode, people who just go AFK in the middle of fight, people who talk like idiots in squad chat...

    So you just might be on one of those lists b:chuckle

    I still don't get it what you see in that MMO comming out soon it sucks so much.... i tried CBT believe me.. it will happen same as with wars star mmo.
