FC Babies birth BH Babies

Ok so we all know so many people love to take their alts up to FC and hyper them up and don't play them until high levels. FC Babies or Hyper Babies have been annoying for quite a while. There's exceptions but anyone who can't play their class is a pain in the butt, regardless.

But now my biggest annoyance is that it's near impossible for the rest of us to be able to do a BH without a bored 100 popping up. I totally understand this would have been a nice gesture once upon a time- but now it's to the point it easily takes a half an hour to form, and a lot of that time is saying 'no ty' to the high ups wanting to help as well as putting up with the abuse of rejecting them.

I learned my seeker by doing daily BH's and not taking her to FC til she could be in squad properly. Same for my cleric. My myst couldn't get a bh29 with a regular squad AT ALL and my other alts cant get any BH's either that way.

So to the constant 'why dont you have a high level do it?': because i wanna learn to play my alt right and not end up a fail b:angry

Please please please take a break from spoiling the little levels with doing it all for them! sometimes being so 'nice' isnt actually helping!b:cryb:surrender
I've been to too many things where people quit, won't try, or demand a high level, when I *know* it can be done!! BH Babies make horrible squad mates!

That's just the way the game is now, blame PWE for introducing Hyper Stones to the game. Make the best of a bad situation, I personally sell FCs when people buy them, may as well make some easy cash off the nubs.

FC's are what they are and I've stopped caring long ago- it's the fact that it's now spilling over and causing BH problems to learn a class that I'm unhappy with. Forming a BH51 shouldn't take half an hour or more, and should be doable without spending time to convince a cleric with a seeker or bm tanking that it's possible to do wyv =/

Yeah.. I miss the old days where when you squadded with people, more often than not they knew how to play, but the day Hypers came out was the beginning of the end of those times. Try to only squad with your faction or friends, and if none of them have characters in your level range make them create new ones. Then go go go and get those BHs and such done. =P

yeah it's how i survive atm mostly XD
but sadly always missing something- like either a healer or a tank, and as they are vital it's disappointing.

Yeah i remember things like waiting for Rank to walk around in 51 to be annoyingly long, but used to duel and make friends there! And I remember the first time my seeker starting stealing aggro from barbs in 69 and i survived!! and ofc the terror of having more than 2 sins in 59 as a cler XD
I just wish more people missed it too and wanted to find out on their alts as well instead of going straight to FC range :<

Yeah a friend and I were talking about how the game used to be earlier today. How you used to quest and people were there, and you'd chat 'em up and leave with a new friend. How TT70 or 80 gear and Cala axes were beastly, and how everyone did their 20x3 and actually had a good time with it. You leveled and geared a hell of a lot slower but things were more fun because people were actually sociable instead of being obsessed with levels, gear, and efficiency. I admit I've become focused on gearing more than socializing in a lot of cases, and though I do try to talk to my friends and occasionally run things with 'em I always find myself weighing the oppurtunity cost of running with them vs running by myself or doing something else. I miss the way this game used to be, I really do. b:sad

Well I'm really glad someone else does miss things like little BH's!
and so true about TT as well- i admit I've never been in there on an alt except to rez and/or buff.
I never let it stop me to go all sorts of places when I was under 100.
Though i really cant imagine someone taking in my myst or cler into a 3-1.
Maybe I will run into other people too who will want them or likeminded people who want to bh and learn on alts!
I am scared of being a fail :<

In summary: people use common sense to learn their class. Only that the thing missing in this case is the Common sense itself... :/
I realise now my Alts ( psy mustic n seeker all under 4x) are gonna find it even harder to find BHs when I get round to leveling them properly.

    i remember helping in 202020 in 69 at lvl50
it was horrible (the barb was horrible, and to some extend still is) and made me fear 69 unwined

eh nowadays i play archer in mid 90
when im squad leader i try to avoid bored 100+ players
but when others lead they come :(

well the difference in 90ees bh isnt that big, it was worse when bh was 59 or 69
a high lvl basically killed any fun, could just as well leave the squad and log on sin to prepare another big room - thats what i did eventually - b:sad

I remember a couple of my bh79's on my mystic having a level 100+ in squad. Now, if you're 90+ and need help from a 100+ in bh79, something ain't right.

Even though I'm retired now, I do remember the days where I AVOIDED bh69 like the plague on my sin (mostly because even if I put on chill I somehow took aggro from the tank). I also remember when BH didn't exist when I played my wizzie and I had to fish for exp. And I grieved the death of all the archers who got ganged up there because light armor was not water-proof (I was an LA wizzie).

I'm sad the state of the game has bred those who are experts at FC and nubs at everything else (even if some eventually learn their class well). But games like this have to evolve to survive. Whether the evolution was good or bad is another story.

Yeah, I have to agree with opening post too. I admit, I had to begin using hypers in lvl75 because, at the time, there was no living soul to squad up with me. After reaching 80+, I retired. It was no use of me. Not to mention that psychics, with all due respect to players who use this class, nearly wiped out the wizards with their fast channeling and sins leading FC... PWI got itself a new wealthy class of citizens... playing aristocrats... I mean, geeez... b:sad

I don't know how seekers and mystics have an impact on the game nowadays. I wish they didn't make them so... universal... As for practicing and learning about your class by doing BH... well, I learned one thing for sure... stay behind the lines and don't shoot too often for you may take aggro XD

Man I didn't realize it got that bad, I was really thinking about starting up the game again but if I can't find a squad that actually wants to play the game instead of watching some r9 flex for a bit I might pick a different game to play. That said I do remember my cleric I leveled it to 50 something the hard way, not one fc not one bh and by the time I got there I did a better job than alot of lvl 100+ r9 clerics I met, not only that I was killing mobs that were crushing sins and barbs five lvls higher than me, I remember a sin asking if I needed help as I took down 2 lvl 50 mobs (my cleric was around 45ish at the time) then turned around and saved his **** and he was like "looks like you can handle yourself"....anyways my stroll down memory lane is over I wish PWI would release a second version where there are no hypers FC or BH no dragon orbs or easy ways to refine no wraith stones or fast ways to build rep and the only damn things you can buy with cash is fashion considering that fashion alone sells enough to turn a decent profit....oh and no hot color packs just sell the damn color on it's own or make people earn it by questing

i'd say play to lvl 20ish, then fc to around lvl 60 and start doing bh's. but really depends if you know how to play the class already.

I havn't played the "official" version of this game in years (I've played all classes and am familiar with their skills, so no one needs to worry about another "hyper baby"), but I am planning on coming back as an Venomancer because I miss the questing/FB's/Dungeons etc. However, if it really is this hard finding early 29-51 BH's I am considering to pay for FC runs to 60 or 70 (or do Oracles if these are still a decent option).Any idea how much this would cost me/how many runs it would be from level 20 (with the max option from hypers + the 2x boost from the anniversary coming up ;p)?

I just team up with peeps from faction who also need the Bh, sure a lvl 80 is nice for once in bh 29, and maybe sometimes in 39, but on 80 they can get killed, after 90 or so, they cant rlly be killed my mobs ussualy...
    I do not need much,
