Its just a little frustrating when you are trying to click on a NPC and some one has there mount placed right on top of them. Why not ban all mounts in the major cities . Or even better place a limit on how close one can get to a NPC. That away at least other players can click on the NPC.b:thanks

They are lag inducing, they are huge, and they are a cheat for the Celestial Tiger Event since a lot of people can't afford mounts and have to be on foot while trying to collect the herbs.
I'm stuck as a true Free-to-Play since I have no money for any cash shop items, so that means I can't get a mount, the ones found in-game are impossible for me to get, they either cost too much or require collecting event items (like the Tiger Event items), everything is a long grind just to get enough coins for skills and equipment in the game, so any luxury things like a mount is well out of reach, and its worse with the overpriced ones in the auction house and cat shops.0 -

I used the Shift click thing, but that doesn't work for the cheating **** during the Celestial Tiger Event when trying to gather the Tiger Herbs, NO ****ING MOUNTS WHILE IN THE CITY!
Having to switch back a forth with Performance Mode is annoying any time I go to Arch, and this is the only city in the game I have to do that, because you pay-to-play *** holes.
If you greedy *** paid players still insist on riding your huge *** mounts in cities, I hope the devs make you pay a subscription for that since you have enough money to buy anything you want anyway, that same subscription fee can also be used to force price caps on the cat shops so the F2Ps can afford things from them with out weeks of grinding.
Plus I will not lighten up until I can actually do things in this game with out fighting and struggling for everything, I get enough of that in real life, this game is supposed to be fun, but you greedy *** holes ruin that fun by taking everything away from the F2Ps.0 -
HONESTLY dude complaining about it wont help. 99.9% of other people do not care. they will do whatever they want to their advantage. my suggestion to you is save for about a month. thats all it will take. figure $2.00 a day should be easy enough, hell i find about $1.00 in change on the ground in parking lots very day. go online and buy a new graphics card with a higher memory than the minimum required by the game. SHOULD only cost about $20.00 to $40.00 plus shipping. at $2.00 a day for 1 month this will leave $20.00 for shipping. and next month think about doing it again and buying a 4gb DDR3 memory card. this will increase your computers capability to deal with the higher graphics during your ventures into arch. REALLY its not that hard.0

Anyone who has been here over a year I think it is get's a free 11 m/s mount. In addition you can gain a mount through grinding and buying one in the AH. It is completely possible to be a F2P player and get a mount. You don't have one because you're too busy calling other people cheaters instead of accepting that there is going to be some content you gain better access to the more you progress in the game and working towards goals.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

If you can't stand greedy people, and you want a game without fighting and struggling for everything, it would be best for you if you play casual offline games or casual offline RPG where competition and greed do not exist.Plus I will not lighten up until I can actually do things in this game with out fighting and struggling for everything, I get enough of that in real life, this game is supposed to be fun, but you greedy *** holes ruin that fun by taking everything away from the F2Ps.

laloner - There are things such as gear and skills that give you speed boosts, learn to combine and use them, they just don't work against the damn mounts since the greedy *** holes all use the base speed 10 mounts. With my current gear and my level 2 speed skill, I top out at 6.7, this is due to my base speed being 5.1 with two pieces of equipment that add a total of 0.3 and my skill adds 25% on top of that and I don't run a Barb instead I use a Veno, so that throws your argument out the window.
VenusArmani - Dreamweaver - Sadly, I can't get any of the anniversary items, as for the mounts in cat shops or the auction house, do you have 10 to 20 million coins to spend on one, I use a lot of coins on skills and equipment, I can barley even work on crafting since everything is so damn overpriced.
crystalpink - Sorry, your argument is invalid, yes there are the damn kill/material stealers and greedy paid players in this game, but you should learn to dig around more, I found a faction that hates them as much as me, and the whole group does what they can to help each other.

Also, someone already said it, barb will win everyone then? barbs are like, what 8.0-9.0+? And then all the non veno AA will lose. Fair game? NAHHH.
As for force to land/ground on npcs. Uhh... then people will stand on/around the npc. Human mountain, doesn't make it any better. BTW, I don't need best performance for Arch, but I do for tw. Why? I'm not powerful enough to kill the tigers yet so that is out, I don't have the coins to buy and deliver the gems so that is out, so at my current progress I only have the Tiger Herb collecting, but with you cheating *** holes on mounts that is impossible. I will put up with the Arch Performance toggle just as long as I can finally do events with out ****ing cheaters. Money may be able to get you anything you want in the game, but it doesn't get you the most important thing, RESPECT.

I never had a 10 m/s mount until now, when I already have a decent full-time job and make almost $3k per month.
I never won weekly mount race competition 3-4 years ago with my non-spurred panther that I bought with my coins I gathered from quests, mobs and the stuffs I sold at Auction House (3-4 years ago, I was also a poor student living with a very minimal budget).
Yet, I didn't trash my dignity to the ground like what you just did on this topic by insulting people richer than you and begging for a 10 m/s mount just because you are too poor to get a 10 m/s mount and don't want to put effort to gather coins to buy a 10 m/s mount.(\__/)

Listen to what everyone's saying. This game isn't going to change because one or two people decide they don't like the lag in Archosaur. I don't do events because my laptop can't handle them. It's not just mounts that create lag. It's the amount of people who do the events/their effects/their customizations, as well.

A polaris snow cub is only 1.5 mil on my server at times. It's not the fastest mount but at 9 m/s it's certainly faster than your character. A lobster is 4 mil and is also a 11 m/s mount. An ancestral kirin is only 3.5 mil. I'm sure there are cheap mounts on your server, you just have to make it a priority to find one. My argument is not rendered invalid and I hope you use better research and argument skills than that in your college papers. My argument would only be invalid if all the mounts were that expensive but that is not the case. Everyone in this game can eventually afford a mount if they put the effort to get one.
I mean the TB quest chain gives you about 1 mil coins when it's finished. You're telling me it would be impossible for you to grind out some mats and get 500k? That is too much to ask for anyone? Please. It's easy to get that much. You are never going to have a perfect system where every single last person can win the event. There are always going to be people who get the edge on others, or who can't participate for various reasons. But the event is structured to be very inclusive and they give you a great way to reduce the lag caused by the mounts.
And don't try that broke college student on me. I literally just now graduated. Its only been a few weeks. But in that time I managed to get many things in this game, including a mount. BTW, I graduated with two different bachelors degrees. I worked as a supervisor for an information desk and was in-charge of 50 different employees although obviously not by myself. I was in three student organizations, one of which helped build an orphanage in Belize. I got good grades. And I still managed to get things I wanted in-game, even if I'm not the best at it.
How? I did my homework. I read the forums, I check the wiki. I look in the AH daily for at least a week when I want something to get a good idea of it's average price. I check for deals. I learned to merchant. I researched what I should be grinding and when. I didn't power level which meant that my coins wasn't constantly going into gear. Why? Because I wanted nice, cosmetic things, decent gear, and appropriate level skills. I didn't whine in the forums asking for handouts and accuse everyone who is better than me of cheating. I learned from them. You can't learn anything you think you already know. Mounts like most things in this world, are something you are actually going to have to put in effort to obtain. And compared to other things in this game, it isn't even a lot of effort. The people who have mounts have earned their competitive edge against you, now go out and get yours.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
