Just curious, for the people who still play this game, how many *long* TW's has there been since the introduction of the new TW reset system? Have there been any 2-3 hour long TW's? Any enjoyable TW's?

Quite honestly, yes.
Kylin and DumAsS had a 3 hour war yesterday. A few weeks ago, Kylin and Mayhem had a 3 week TW. Crimson and Omerta have had hour TW's.
All in all, not so terrible compared to 10 minute Demacia/Catalyst hurp-a-derp crystal rushes. I can't say I can complain. The additions on the towers are nice, too: no more ignoring the towers altogether in an attempt to rush crystal.They made fun of me because I wasn't a R8 Psychic...and then came third cast. It's not funny anymore.

They're longer, but still one-sided. It's not that the losing side stands a chance, but rather that now towers basically HAVE to die, and they can amp the catapults, making it easy for them to die. Still, typically the wars we've had, the moment we're in the base with towers down, it's GG. The towers are everything.
Still an improvement over the 5 minute wars, just saying that you shouldn't expect good competition, but rather 1 hour of shooting fish in a barrel. (which can still be lulzy in it's own right)I AGOREY0 -
The towers hurt.. If you try to tank the dmge you'll end up dying. This is good and bad for any faction because it kills off the ppl who are not decently geared but great in a def war I guess. I died maybe 4 times and 3/4 " you've been killed by rapid turret" -_-.
It has made tw a bit more fun and it takes some sort of effort this time, but it's 7mil to build all the towers now ( each war) which is zzz.0 -
Fireworks addition is awsome.
Makes this awsome designed lag free game(b:laugh) even more lagless.

Another coming change is (and correct me if I'm wrong on any of this) that you bid with 10mil notes, not cash. This means that you can't bid 15mil or 12mil, but rather it's either 10mil or 20mil.
Likewise, simply building towers is 7mil, the bid is a minimum of 10mil and if you win the land, you get 10mil pay. This discourages smaller factions from bidding, because basically to even make a profit, you need to hold a land for at least 2 weeks. This makes losing a land that much more painful, TW far less profitable for anyone BUT the top-tier guilds, and likewise discourages bidding wars, because if say, three guilds all want to bid on the same land, then obviously you need to bid 20mil, hell maybe even 30 mil, and then you'll want to hold that land for at least 4 weeks to make a profit.
I think another change, and again I could be wrong here, is that 90% of bids get refunded, whether you win the bid or not. This means, again, that bigshot guilds have the advantage, as they can go "herpderp 50mil bid" knowing full well they'll only lose 5mil, whereas smalltime guilds might not even HAVE 50mil to bid.
Finally, up to 7 guilds can stack at the same time, and given how vital it is to hold land for a MINIMUM of two weeks at all times, this could really hurt. The upside however is that, and I know I'm not alone on this, several of us get the feel that in a case where two factions both perform well and know what they're doing, defense will always ALWAYS win, as it simply takes at least 45 minutes just to chew through the vital towers. The towers hit hard AND debuff/amp you, so they absolutely gotta go. For two guilds that both have a good head on their shoulders, the time it takes to chew through towers will simply become too substantial to be able to kill the crystal. This means that a good guild with a level head would at least be able to hold their front and properly defend their land, only losing it if they get stacked by literally 7 guilds (unlikely given the 10mil minimum bid) or if they get stacked by 2+ factions that know what they're doing. (not gonna lie, I'm not even sure Harshlands has ONE faction that fully knows what they're doing, currently, and several who are all forms of dumbtarded...)
In short, the new TW rules discourage single-faction map domination, discourages fake bids and stacking and encourages bigshot guilds and learning how2TW if you actually wanna make a profit. Sadly this also means it discourages small-time wars like IMPERIA and CJr.I AGOREY0 -

But you've gotta bid to be able to get the refund.
Maybe that's easy for YOU to say, but not everyone has 10-20mil etc laying around to even manage the bid.I AGOREY0 -
