The rules are simple.
Your character cannot use a glitch to their advantage.
Your character cannot have any item on them that can be connected with the cash shop. (The only exclusions I can and will say for this are Mirages and mats as those are either quest rewards or you have to farm them for some quest)

Good luck if you take my challenge.

Ok question -

The money I make from farming legit, am I allowed to start merchanting with that ?

Being a merchant is part of the game, or am I only allowed to sell the drops to NPC's?

If only allowed to sell to NPC's, can I claim my DQ rewards and buy charms from event card?

Buying and selling increases my coins, lots of coins I can buy gold LEGIT without spending real life money.
Is this still seen as "cheating"

By buy some items with gold that you coin farmed, you might get some hypers, are these allowed?

By doing some quest, you might get or even with coin farming buy training eso's - Are they not just a lower level of hypers? Are these allowed?

All of my internets belong to you. When I first got to him I sat there for like 30 minutes and just listened to the music hahaha, I did the same thing when I first got to Brock.

I am sorry but that thinking is flawed. If something was not intended to be in the game (aside glitches) it would not be there cash-shop or not. Don't forget you cant squad with anyone else either on the off chance they have cashop linked items. b:chuckle

I doubt you even know what this rule really implies. This would mean :
- obviously, no hypers, but also no exp scrolls, charms or lvl75 herbs/meats disabling most forms of aoe'ing (what is actually pretty old school).
- no fashion b:surrender
- no wine for any insance, as those are not mentionned in your exception, and wines are now made with tokens and thus "can be connected with cash shop".
- no mount other then basic horse, and no flyer other then lvl30 quest reward or timed gifts.
- no teleport, as the teleport points can be unlocked by a cash shop item.
- no refine aids, so basically no refines higher then +3~5.
- no gold fcc weapons/ornaments, cube/warsong/jungle ornaments, no lunar weapons/ornaments, no lunar TM capes. It's the cash shop that gives the item, so they are outside your "mats exception", unlike TT gold items or TT100 weapons.
- And most importantly, no help from others who (may) have been connected with the cash shop.

So yeah, your challenge is impossible. No need to try to know that.

hmm u said no cs items.. allright how about plenty of training escorterias, fruits, orbs and other sht that boost up your exp that u get from daily lucidgold, BHs ect quests? I already don't use hypers or abuse glitches. That said, it is a very slow road to 105 (my archer has been working on 102 for a very long time so I don't foresee 105 in my future). It would probably help if I could stand the Cube of Fate, but I'm a purely PvE player and getting repeatedly PKed in there just frustrates me.

However, your challenge is ridiculous to me. I can understand saying no hypers, but I would never bother even getting to higher levels without inventory or bank extensions. (And I personally would never play without fashion either... the armor is awful to look at.) How those aid levelling is beyond me, but I'd be more concerned about things like Lucidsilver/gold giving out piles of fantasy fruit every day. And don't forget, people could just do like KawaiiJen: buy every piece of FF green they can find, decomp and voila, instant experience. There are also oracles that could be bought. Anyone decent at merchanting can easily buy their way into the higher levels without using hypers.

Why not go all out and say no BHs, too? I made it to the 90s without them. That is much more of a challenge.

Theres one dude in Heavens tear, He has been playing for about 2 years now (in HT Server)

He is a Wizard, atm only level 103.
But he has never used Hypers, or Done FF before lol, or Nirvana, he just does all his dailies everyday, and merch for his gear lol.

2 yrs to 103 i would say is the norm.
Problem is it s just as much exp for 104 as 1-103, so 2 more yrs to 104.
105 is more EXP than 1-104......You all do the math.
