Guild Base inquiry!

I'm sure a few people have already posted about bases but I can't find anything good when I search, so here you go. I've heard this and that about Guild Bases but I can't tell what is just a rumor and what information is accurate about them. I get the gist of a Guild Base and it's pretty awesome, seemingly, but the things I'm really wondering are:

1. I've heard/read you can lose your base, is this true?
2. If you can lose your base, how does this happen?
3. If war is declared do you have the option to accept/refuse the declaration?
4. How do you go about maintaining your base?
and
5. Is it worth it for smaller factions, or at all?

I think I covered just about everything. If anyone could give me any answers, preferably accurately, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you b:thanks

    1. yes u can lose ur base if you dont keep up its health or its destroyed
2.happens over time if members dont contribute to it or if its destroyed in a 40v40 battle (which apparently hasnt been implemented ingame yet)
    3. from what ive read, not able to decline wars declared against you
    4. you maintain the base by doing the contribution quests given to you by the faction monolith (pillar in middle room) which encompasses 2 kill quests in normal world map and 1 quiz question
    5. at the cost of 200mil just to get it alone, No its not worth it for smaller factions unless u can dish out that kind of money for it, aswell as the possibility that it may be destroyed by one of the bigger factions should they declare war on you and succeed in destroying it

hope that answers ur questions b:bye

    1. Yes. If your base health goes to 0, your base will be destroyed.
    2. Through inactivity (people not doing the guild base quests) and through guild base wars.
    3. You cannot decline guild base wars.
    4. Do the guild base quests everyday. Upgrade the base structures as it levels.
    5. No. DO NOT get a guild base if you are a small faction. They are meant for big, active factions. Period.

Please note that guild base wars are currently not implemented in either CN or this version yet.

I don't think guild wars directly destroy a base, they only destroy the buildings (which can be rebuild).

The ONLY way for a base to be destroyd, is by it reaching 0 hp. Nowhere in the little guide (that you get from the guild base NPC) sais it anything about a war destroying the base, or even costing hp. It only sais it destroys the buildings.

Obviusly, if a faction can't do quests cause the monolith is destroyd, it'll lose some health. But only until the monolith is rebuild, after which you can do quests again (so you can criple someone's base, but not completely destroy it).

And no, guild bases are NOT for smaller factions. They are an end game feature, and are meant to go tougether with TW (tw pays for the base, the base gives advantages in TW)

This makes more sense. You don't directly lose HP from war, but you can lose your central monolith wing which prevents you from getting materials/contributions so your HP decreases faster over time.

Smaller, inactive factions will probably lose their base since they most likely won't have the required activity level to maintain its HP.

You will be waiting a long time.

Anything specific you want a GM response from? I bet I could search the forums and find it answered already a year ago.

I could be wrong, but from what I understood when guild bases came out, they said the 40v40 base wars would NEVER be installed to our version of PW.
Goes along the same lines as the housing that we never got, but still get the stupid items from doing World Quest.

PWE has, in fact, used Base Wars as one of the most prominent features to advertise for bases. However, they didn't stick to what they said (seems familiar ?) and did not implement them. It is unlikely we will ever have Base Wars.

While war/alliance declarations were implemented the same time as bases, they have nothing to do with them. Basically it just changes the color of the faction name for the people in the faction you're at war with, so it's more for world PVP.

You would have done better to have started a new thread, rather than to necro an old thread that, in the end, didn't have anything to do with your question.
