    i so had my mind set on T3, and now comparing R9 to it in pvp aspect im totally wishing i went R9 instead. just for the purge proc and bit higher def att lvls. but i wanted to know eveyone else thoughts about it.

    If you are even remotely serious about pvp... you need to go P4.

    Oh wait, that's not quite right either...


    I'm thinking he actually means G16 Nirvana. The two can't really be compared, Nirvana is better in terms of cost effectiveness (a.k.a. being on a budget) while R9 is quite a bit better for over double the cost.

    Just threw these together real quick. The only advantages R9 has over stage 3 are the purge proc, a little more hp, and 8 higher defense levels. Whereas stage 3 has more base physical attack. Stage 3 also gives you the chance to wear to wear a warsong belt to help make up for some of the missing defense levels. Both have their pro's and con's.

    You used the Recast R9 belt instead of the normal one in the R9 build, thus breaking the set bonus of 20 Attack Levels. The R9 build actually has 1 more Attack Level over Nirvana.

    Not to mention R9 gets guaranteed max sockets where g16 nirvana is a gamble unless you use chikeun stones... so if you make it endgame your costs almost matches R9 and in some cases can be more costly. In either case R9 is still better.

    Not so noobie if you think about it. The purpose of DoTs is to cancel out the defense levels. Sure it takes twice as many DoTs to negate one JoSD. But think about this how many People do you know running around in full JoSD vs other shards?

    I'd say.... less then 10% of all R9?

    So in most cases your average R9 player will only have 26(29 for archer) defense levels. That's with a stage 1 cube necklace which most have. the Defense will increase if you have a higher grade necklace.... But anyways moving on past that. You get 6 pieces of armor you can shard up. Hat, cape, chest , legs , boots , wrists. That's up to 24 sockets and if sharded with DoT nullifies the Defense levels pretty much of any R9. And if you're in full R9 in most cases you'll have at least 93 from just the R9 Set + Jones. Stacked with Cube necklace and 2 set G15 helm/cape and you're exceeding 100. Which an additional 100% damage increase modifier that isn't affected by their defense levels anymore because the DoTs negated it.

    Way to take what I was talking about out of context blaze.... It was purely for the example of the damage modifications.

    I'm saving up my money for a chikeun stone sale actually to get my 1395 chikeuns for g16 helm and cape >_>
