Hey all

Anyone got a guide for Seeker skills on lower lvl's?

Been reading through the stickies, but to me it seems that only 2-4 skills is worth useing
Seems i bit odd to me if it's so few useable skills on a Seeker

So anyone got any in put for this... doing a Seeker to try something new... at lvl 38 atm.

In the end you'll pretty much want all of them maxed.
Just see what does damage, what gives certain effects and see what compliments your playing style.
I personally recommend leveling heartseeker, heart-shatter and leveling one of your stances first along with aoe's.
I kept my aoe's on the same level so that they had the same range, but others might not care as much for it.

Rock Splitting Cleave only got good at sage for me since it adds range. I recommend not to level that untill you have the sage book.

Yeah I kinda guessed that, gonna cost a sh.t load of coins - as usual ;)

Gonna try the skills you mention, just have 3 to use atm... didn't really know which skills to use, so why get something, if it would/could be a waste...

Thx for the advice Hazumi :D

and if other ppl got more good advice, plz share it :)

at lv10 rocksplitting cleave does some pretty decent damage but thats at lv10. I didnt level that up till I hit lv90.

I do agree with heartshatter and heartseeker tho. Definitely see a boost in damage after using heartshatter.

Northern Sky and Staggering Strike will be your best friend for a long time.

Adrenal Numbness is a must to keep leveled imo.

For me AOEs came in to play around the 60s when you can start taking on groups of stronger mobs.

Have seen a few seekers useing Rocksplitting and staggering at lvl 70+

staggering+northern sky is and will always be my favourite stance even as 101. that -20 def levels for the target is really effective and level 10 (or even better sage tho that might take you a while to get) makes it possible to keep the status active near constantly on a boss. also agree that heartshatter and numbness are important, as well as heartseeker being useful.

also, as i see you are on a pvp server (which im personally not) keep in mind that the status effect from stance has priority over that from heartseeker/ionspike meaning that stances with higher % will make those less likely to cause their effect. only if the game decides to not place the stance effect on a target will it calculate if it is going to immobilise with heartseeker etc.

Oh by all means level your AOEs but imo dont go overboard with them. They require a lot of spirit and coin when you start getting closer to lv10. Only reason I waited was because I noticed I wasnt able to take multiple mobs that were 5-10 levels above me. Wait till you get Vortex and start looking for as many physical mobs grouped together you can find. DQ and mat farming becomes so much much easier.

mmhhmm Vortex, yeah has seen a lvl 95 Seeker run a vortex, very effective, tho costly in Mana...

about AOE, go to lvl 3 or 4 perhaps, and then wait to my char get strong enough to do the bigger mobs ;)

RT is PvE, not PvP ;)
