Didnt know you could DC for a couple of hours and still be logged in, gonna set my catshop up like that next time, save electrical bill

    Totally possible if your computer crashes or your internet suddenly dies.

    I've actually had it happen to a catshop before when the power went down in the area temporarily and I came back on to find my catshop had been buying/selling just fine without me.

    You dont stay logged in for hours but it is possible for your toon to be standing there for as much as 15-20 minutes in game even after your own pc has crashed. I have been on the receiving end and the seeing end of this. I have been on vent and in the same room with another computer and i was dc'd on my computer but on my friends computer i could clearly see myself still standing there. I have also been on vent when someone has dc'd yet could clearly see them still standing there. But like I said.... It usually only lasts 15-20 minutes.

    So it could be plausible.. That if a person dc's but there is "lag" in the toon actually disappearing and that person is in pk mode.. that they could be "killed" thus drop an item. Of course if the person doing the pking was aware in any way shape or form that the person had dc'd, then pk'd them in an effort to get something to drop, would be well.. poor sportsmanship.
