A New Server?

In the last 3 years, Perfect World have released 3 new servers.

Archosaur 17th March 2010
Momagnon Lothranis 7th July 2011

So, I was hoping, that if they follow their pattern so far, a new server would be opening in the near future.

If they make a new server, what would you like it to be?

Personally I'd love an English, European Server, preferably a PvP server.
More people in Europe can speak English than German or French..

    I doubt it when the current servers populace in 80% of the servers is pretty much void of players besides the usual catshops and people sitting around arch talking about doing stuff all day and not actually doing anything.

    I'm not new..but I forgot when that was released, was it 2009?

    I was playing Dreamweaver then, so never payed much attention to RT.

    Existing servers are under populated (especially TW). Give me a good argument why they should open another server?

    Well in my opinion, they are cutting off half of Europe because it's not much fun playing a server where the main language is only spoken by one country, France.
    Loads of Europeans can speak english, far less can speak French, or even want to play a French server.

    Use the serarch feature. This topic comes up about once a week and the answer is always the sme.

    There will be no new server.

    That's what always said, in fact. There was a similar thread just a week or so before the release of Lothranis and Momagnon. It was still said there would be no new server, and then suddenly a week later they spring it on us that the server will be live that night.

    Just because they say there are no plans for a new server doesn't usually mean there won't be one.

    With the current decline in activity on the existing servers, you are more likely to see a merge than a new server.

    The last thing you're going to see with a decline in server population is a new server. It's just common sense.

    Except, they have learned that those 2 servers are fail. So i doubt they will make another failure. Of course it's PWE we're talking about so you never know.

    And sadly, I seriously doubt that they can make a merge happen. Not only don't they have the proper devs for this (real devs are in china). But the way the game is made is probably another reason why it won't be possible.

    HT is one of the older servers and it looks like a ghost town in most areas. I'm guessing the other servers look the same. Adding a new server would only spread the shrinking population even thinner.
