    R9 clerics are generally fail. They'll never heal anyone in squad.

    You could post your story here it's not so long, the only thing that isn't allowed is to name people, so if you don't name the cleric you can tell your story on forum.

    For the story i would personally kick the cleric out the squad and let him die.

    Instead of shouting 'heal' ask the person directly, why he/she is not healing, if there's no valid answer - boot them or ask them to start doing their main job. Some people need a bit of guidance, mainly the people playing the cruical parts such as the tank/healer of the squad.

    Don't really see how these QQ threads will help anyone? They obviously don't read the forums, or they'd know what to do as clerics/whatever class they are.



    And on a sidenote..fyi, usually an r9 cleric with all jades would have enough defense to manage a few hits on his/her own. The weapon alone has such magic atk. boost that your IHs stacked would save you for a period of time. It's all about how you play..and I'm pretty sure most r9 clerics will have the brain to not catch agro or get healing-aggro unless they can handle it. All +12 wep clerics don't max it out first to be DD'ers, but to get the highest healing output possible. b:chuckle

    The reason people were shouting 'heal' at that point is because 3 of the people in the squad had just got hit by an attack and some had over half their HP gone. At one point our tank had maybe only a 1/4th left. You could see the people using pots, but it wasn't enough. And the whole time she was still attacking mobs. And when it happened again that is when I stepped in and started using Morning Dew.

    In this case the cleric was really not that good. However, most of the times I'm against complaining about someone and how they're playing their character. I myself started out as what you'd call a 'fail cleric'. I didn't know that clerics don't need dex., so I allocated my points evenly. I had no friends in the game until level 50, so no one guided me and said that this was wrong. At that point (level 50 or so) I was invited to a faction where I met more helpful people. One of them helped me kill a boss that I needed, and I learned the hard way (by dying) that IH is better than the other heal that I had been using so far. My factionmates finally helped me with my fb19 and the rest up to 51, since I didn't know what a fb was (well how would I, it's not called fb in the game). They were very nice and helpful, and not once got angry if I didn't do something right the first time. PWI was the first MMO that I ever played and I didn't even know that forums existed back then, so that's why I didn't know what or how to do. This was all back in 2009.

    Now I consider myself a very experienced player. I have tried different classes and been through a lot. Now I help the newbies the same way my first factionmates helped me. But it still annoys me when I'm on my lower level alts, doing bh or something, and someone is ranting about how the others don't have the proper armor that he thinks they should have, or how they haven't maxed all their skills yet.

    Sorry for the long post, I just wanted to say that be kind to others, and others will be kind to you. But in this particular case, the cleric should have really listened when you had already asked her to heal you.

    Had a sin in party we wanted it to used deaden nerves to lure the bh aba boss.He lured and died,he didnt buff himself with nerves,so we told him again to buff with nerves,he went in and died again....so we said USE DEADEN NERVES...he said "whats deaden nerves?"
    This game is like washing hair with shampoo... Rinse and repeat if desired.

    Considering that most sins seem to only know Demon Spark and Attack, I am not surprised.

    Just yesterday, a friend of mine was in a Metal squad. They apparently lacked DPS, but had a well geared sin (+7 stuff, 7.6k hp unbuffed), who kept dying. After asking about it, I found that the sin was apparently using Chill of the Deep and Demon Spark. It made me almost facedesk when I realized that this sin was absolutely clueless as to the fact that he could have used skills and let the barb tank, rather than demon sparking and getting himself killed.

    Though, I see similar behavior from BMs. I've had a few Seat squads take longer than expected because the BM decided to demon spark and autoattack from the start, getting aggro only to get killed by the boss. Instead they could have, for example, used their axes.
    I am Olba. Not Ol, not Baze nor Blaze. And even less would I go by Olblaze. Please, take a second to read a person's username.
    If you see b:cute be sure to take a second, calm look at anything I said.

    I saw a veno one time in bh snake that didn't had the skill bramble and didn't know what it was, but i admit that story with the pet is the worse veno ever, how a veno don't know about the pet....

    If I could be more arsed to surf, I'd quote the post about the cleric that got killed by Quingzi in FB29 even though the cleric was in his/her late 80s or early 90s.

    A pure example why it is better to think outside of the box... Hence why my casters are pure support and support only and just forget about pew pewing and let the others do that.

    After it was posted, the entire thread revolved around trying to figure out how in the hell the cleric sucked enough to allow that to happen.

    Oh no, it gets worse. I happen to know the name of that veno, and I did some checking around at the time. She was an HA veno. I mean, I don't think you can find more ways to fail than an HA veno, with axes, no hp, and not knowing how to use a pet. I mean really, I have never found someone that fails as much as that.

    Sure I've run into my fair share of DD clerics, I know a couple I'm trying to train right now. Hell I love to DD myself, but I'll only do it if there's another cleric and we discuss it beforehand.

    My response PWI needs to write a ToS that makes the game ban peoples accounts. The reason they should see when they attempt to log in should be "due to massive amounts of stupidity you are not allowed to play PWI"

    After posting this it did get me to thinking. If a Wiz could get enough gear with -chan maybe (and that is a big maybe) they could be used as a healer. Though for Morning Dew to be as effective at healing as cleric heals you would need to reduce your channeling by about 75-80%. Morning Dew does only have a 1 second cool down, so technically if you could reduce the channel enough, a Wiz would make a decent healer. So if there are any Wizzes out there with free time and spare coin, new challenge for you. Personally I would love to see people's reaction when they WC for a healer and a Wiz responds that they can. b:chuckle
