LOL, we didn't make the 3k deadline....well haven't yet, we still have 2k to go :L but knowing PWI they will still turn 2x on b:laugh 2x tt99 here i come (need my damn tt99 legs, and to nirvy them, my tt99 boots, neck and belt) 2x casters b:dirty

Used the wiki for experience tables, cube guides, Nirvana crafting, and a few other tidbits here and there. The search feature needs to be optimized. It doesn't quite work well.

Wow, kinda been thinking what could be done with the wiki, how to help, what to change, etc.


Main thoughts: Fairly disorganized. If things aren't directly linked to the main page, or the pages on the main page it is well nigh impossible to find them.

General rule of thumb is that any data should be accessed by the third level (figure that main page is level 0) While the site may not go that deep, finding your way down is a little obscure in cases.


Other Thoughts:

1. Main Page, categories seem awkward. I gather that the idea is to have the most used pages easily accesible, but some things logically shouldn't be separated the way they are divided.
   
   Example: even if it only in terms of layout the first column on the wiki might be better served as something like:
   
   [Play As
   • -Race
     • --Class I
     • --ClassII
   • -Race
     • --Class I
     • --ClassII
   While the next section on skills should be incorporated into the respective Class page.
   
   
2. Links to forum topics, no matter how well done, kind of defeat the whole purposse of the wiki. The forum has a whole lot more opinion, and many good suggestions, but it makes the wiki less coherent.
   
   
   
3. Lots of Redundancy. In example:
   
   One of the things I look up the most is the 'One-Many Army' Quests. I can think of three pages off the top of my head that have that information. The way I most often get to that info follows:
   
   Main >> Rank and Reputation
   Main >> Quest Guides >> One-Man Army (in Repeatables section)
   Main >> Guides >> Grinding Mobs (in Monsters and Mobs section)
   
   It is NOT listed under Main >> Quests >> One-Man Army, which would be the MOST obvious place for it.
   
   
   
4. Inconsistent formating.
   
   In my above example, not one of the three pages show the same information the same way.
   
   
   
5. Again with the redundancy, but more from a formatting perspective. A lot of vertical page space is wasted with lines for the Reward values.. Something simple like a template for a table of basic rewards would be wonderful. (I'm thinking just XP/SP/Coin/Rep.)

Given my list of annoyances, I hope it's gathered I use the wiki a LOT. (Along with pwdatabase) I'd really like to help clean things up, fill things in, but I really don't know where (or if) I should start.
