Hitman Legend daggers?

How hard are these to get? and are they pratical?

    They cost around 60-70% it would cost to make g13 nirvana, but to get 5 aps with them you would need an int tome. So the cost would end up being more.

    Oh please, stop pretending like 5 aps is the be-all-end-all goal of everything.

    Hitman Legend is a fine weapon. Basically it's the exact little ground between Rank 8 and G13 Nirvana in terms of mods: It has more DPH than G13, but less than R8 and it has less -interval than G13 but more than R8.

    Getting Hitman Legend is going to be harder than either Rank 8 or G13, for obvious reasons.

    For now some DPS figures:
    R8: 120,512
    G13: 121,337
    Hitman Legend: 126,933

    Of course, for a Sage, the order would be G13>Hitman Legend>R8.

    in this respect r6 (HL) is a bit better since it can be account-stashed (no idea why someone would have two sins in the same account though)

    I have actually been thinking of rolling a Demon sin just for giggles. Not that I would have Hitman Legend.

    And that's why I always say the that calling the Weapon of the Sages the R6 weapon is false. Not only does it not relate to R6 in any other way than requiring the reputation (not the rank), but it also costs additional stuff and does not share the usual properties of rank gear, e.g. account stashing. Not to mention that it's damn misleading, since other than R9, getting a specific rank means you can get the gear.

    I looked into this myself when I was deciding on what to give my new sin, and while they are definitely a perfectly fine choice and do out-dps r8 *if* they bump you to 5 aps - the fact is you are likely going to be forking out the gold/coin for r8 for the top anyway. The slight difference in dps isn't really worth the price of HL.

    Basically, if you're only making this char for farming just skip them and go for r8. If this char is for fun/you are disgustingly rich then why not, you can get them at 90!

    To answer your question though, they are hard to get (it will take a while to accumulate the badges, even if you buy them), they are expensive and they are certainly not practical. They are the best option from 90 to 100 though, they look awesome and they definitely are valid end game daggers for a pve/farming sin. The choice is yours.

    Your post makes no sense. You whine about 5aps, and then post numbers where the only way HL can outdps g13 is at 5aps.

    Oh come on.

    You were obviously making the point that Hitman Legend sucks because it needs the tome for 5 aps. Well guess what? Everyone is going to get the bloody tome anyway, so it doesn't even matter. Guess why they get the tome? Because then they can use better ornaments.

    So even bringing up Pan Gu, Creator as downside is rather silly.

    well... my assa has them Hitmans...

    They sure were a lot of work but i did spent only like 20 million on extra coinage in total and farmed the rest which I consider a cheap endgame-weapon

    yes it's hard work but it was fun too... and thats what i did consider most...

    As pointed out by others, hitmans are pretty good daggers. The big down side, why most don't use them, is that they are a "dead end" with a pretty high cost and unsellable. Their major advantage is probably the lvl requirement.

    They are not hard to get as far as I know. I don't really get what you mean by "practical" though.

    Kinda funny that the only way ur DPS works is if you have an int tome already, because the max adds on those dags wont deal as much as r8 does with its max adds at 4 aps, meaning to exceed r8 your applying an int tome to put you at 5 sparked. So basically HL DPS = less then all of the above without a tome *fine set of daggers though* its unpractical to use HL as well since ur gonna pay for r8 chest anyway, if you already got the -int tome ,just go r8 save urself 70-100m *my server* dk bout yours, OR better yet get g13's and farm slowly to g16 which out DPS up to r9 2nd cast :D
