Yeah so, after years of playing, my account has finally been ****. So, the first thing I do is go to change my account password. The problem is, I am not receiving my verification email at all. So, I can't even take this first step in addressing this problem. So, I go to submit a ticket and what?! That button just leads to an error page in Chrome that says the address has too many redirects in it. Tried it in internet explorer, and it simply can't display the page.

I can't change my password because I'm not getting the verification emails (yes! I checked the spam folder) And, yes, the correct email address is listed in my account. And, I can't submit a ticket. Any advice is helpful at all!

One of the reasons you may be getting the redirect page is if you have changed your email on that account. Apparently if you are using a different email than the one you used when you made the account you can no longer use ticket support, you get that redirect loop. If your email is different if at all possible I would try checking your old email address for the verification. When I was having issues on a different account and was trying to get help they kept sending their responses to my old email. If you can't access your old email, then sadly you are out of luck until Monday when they are back in office.

thank you for the response but the first thing I did was check my email address. It hasn't changed. I am just not getting the verification emails for some reason.

yes, thank you, I've done that. The fact remains that this a very antiquated way to deal with complaints and issues with accounts being compromised. There really should be some type of "live chat" option or, a phone number. Barring that.... the steps that are in place should at least be working. I have not changed my e-mail address.... neither did the hacker. Yet, I can't change my password because I am not getting the verification emails. When I sent an email to customer support, I got a prompt response saying "they'll get back to me". So, what is the problem with sending me a verification email? It's too automated. You can't tell me PWI doesn't make enough money to manually address these serious issues.

So... my account has been ****... I can't change my password, AND I can't submit a ticket. When I send an email (from the same email address as the account) the response is... we will get back to you within 3-5 days.

I'm sorry but, that's just unacceptable.

by the way... I DID click on "submit a ticket' directly from your post... doesn't work.

There was a live chat option. Unfortunately way too many people abuse it, and they were under-staffed to support it on top of that.

I need someone to contact me OR i need a way to contact PWI.....wait.. you mean, I didn't spend ENOUGH money to warrant a response? It cost more than $1000 to get a response from PWI?

No, you just have to have patience.

You could start by grilling your friends, ex'es, little brother/sister, ect, because that is where 90% of the claimed "hacks" actually come from. (Which isn't really hacking btw.)

thanks, again, SylenThunder. I have no ex's. no little brothers/sisters. No mad children. No one in my house did this. I'm not a child.

    And.. sadly.. no friends...

how about you don't assume I'm stupid? And MAYBE i was, I dunno,..... ****?

no one has my password. I've been PRETTY patient....I don't share my account, etc...

I get really mad at you people who say "****... yeah RIGHT!"

It DOES happen. It happens to people who have spent thousands of dollars. I was ****. That's all there is to it. I tried to change my password and COULDN'T. Then, I tried to submit a support ticket because I couldn't change my password. After that.. I tried to submit a support ticket to say I couldn't change my password and COULDN'T. The link does not work for me.

So, ****, and answer the original post.... I have been **** and can't submit a support ticket (the link does not work).

WHAT IS MY NEXT STEP, amartass?

You had a GM come into this topic and they asked you to send an email, did you do it?

It does happen, I'm not arguing that. However, a good 99% of the people who sit and yell "I've been ****!" have never actually been ****. They just practice really poor security and do things that allow people to easily steal information off of their computer system, or even give it away willingly. None of which, is hacking. I merely provided the most common sources of security leaks for an MMO. By asking along that path or doing a little investigating of your own, you may find the source of your problem before you get a response from submitting a ticket.

Just to be clear, I was not being a smartass. You however, are being an ***hole. Also, do you actually read reply's?

I would have said the same thing, except a freaking GM had said it already. What more do you want? They can't help you until you actually submit your information to the support team.

Yes, I did, ChaoticShelly. Thank you. I sent an email to customerservice and they sent me a manual way to change my password. I have successfully changed my Password. Thank you all who suggested that.

However. I am not willing to poor more dollars into this game. I am able to change my pasword. (thank you). But, I am still unable to submit a ticket. The response I got was, "hey, you can change your password now, problem solved." the problem is NOT solved.

A few things that were missing are now back in my vault. When you say "patient". Do you have a time frame?

Look, I am not trying to be personally offensive to you. BUT! I haven't given my info away without knowing it. I'm sorry but, you made me quite defensive. I FELT like you assumed I was a silly person who shared her password with others. Which, I did not. Something terrible happened to me. After 5+ years of building a character.

I used to have the same attitude. I thought ... "if you get ****.. it's you're fault". Well... Guess what? it WAS my fault. I guess my password was weak or something. Fact is. I got ****. No family member did this. No mad friends... I just guess my password was weak... I don't know how else it can happen.

I'm sorry if I seem rude to you. Getting **** tends to do that. I did not buy my pan gu.. I MADE IT and it is now GONE. Tell me how defensive you would be.

You wanted to be able to change your password, they give you info to do it and you was able to change it, so yes it's solved, if there's a other problem send a new ticket explaining the other issue.

As I said. THANK YOU. I was able to change my password. I said thank you many times.

    FIX THAT LINK please

I'm not personally attacking you people but, sheesh! The link to submit a ticket DOES NOT WORK.

why is your attitude so condescending? The problem is that the e-mail they sent her said the problem was "resolved" it's not.

The Submit ticket IS working, it's something on your end that isn't allowing it to. Every time I've had an issue submitting a ticket, I was able to narrow it down to either my browser, or to my security software.

Hell, they've looked into it, and verified that it's working just recently.
