My EXP Went from 52%ish to 2.6% Why?

All I did before I lost my EXP was hand in a mission.

    You probably leveled. When you gain substantially more exp than you require to get to the next level, the exp counter bugs sometimes and goes random percentages before fixating on the correct percentage.

    For example, sometimes it may go from 72% to 148% to 34% to 5% when you turn in a quest and get a lot of exp.

    Other than that you're probably not looking at the points properly in the character menu.

    But when I hovered over the exp it said how much it was and then it just vanished..

    Press the 'C' hotkey and it will display your current exp and the exp required for the next level. Next time you turn in your quests, you'll have a more accurate reading of your experience, regardless of percentage.

    Ok I had 30k EXP and then poof gone back to 0 EXP AGAIN 3rd time now..

    I wasnt even moving when it happened this time.

    I never saw people loose exp without any reason.

    Normally there's 3 reasons:

    -You die.

    -You lvled you genie (with your exp).

    -You get so many exp that you lvl up and though your exp want down while you actually gain a lvl.

    How do you level your genie with your exp?

    When you choose exp infuse on your genie, you can use an exp cube, or your own spirit, or exp points.

    As for the original ?, submit a ticket, sounds like there's something hokey in the connection between your client, and the server character database.

    you leveled, a few hours ago when u posted this your avatar said lv27, now your avatar shows as lv29. you said it happened twice now. during the lower lvs it doesnt take much exp to lv. usually a few quests will lvl u very quickly.

    Experience Points
    in this page, it shows a table with the required exp per lv. for lv27 it shows you needed 49,140 exp to go from 27 at 0% to 28. if i remember correctly quests in the lower lvs usually give somewhere around 15-20k exp per quest.
    press C to bring up your character info, in there at the top it should say something about "Required EXP till next lv" or something like that. take a screenshot of your character sheet. and if your exp "vanishes" again. take another screenshot and compare the two.
    another way to show that you leveled is that you gained 5 points to distribute into str/vit/mag/dex each time you leveled.

    Yup, you leveled. That's about it.

    Every time you level, your exp goes back to 0, and you have more exp to gain to get to the next level. The experience points reset, as once you level, you can't "level down" backwards to a previous level. Astraea's link will give you the numbers for each level, as well as the accumulated total you've obtained so far.

    For example, if you look here, you'll see that I have 535 million exp. And when it hit the required number to get to the next level, it reset down to 0, plus whatever I gained from that mob, and I leveled to the next level, 103.

    This thread is so innocent and cute , i miss these threads a lot.


    Anyway what you experience is overlvling , 2x exp events lvl you so much that you actually get 3-4 lvls with only 4-6 quests



    Common till lvl 30 , things get a bit better later.



    Completing quests and getting the Questmasters rewards ( found in south archosaur) grand items that give you big bursts of exp
