My idea on FULL STR Build. Good or bad?

Hi all, I was wondering if this would be a good idea. Well, as you can see from the forum topic I wanna go FULL STR with the Seeker. So I was going to put in my stats as follows...

4 STR and then 1 DEX, then on the next level up 1 STR and 4 DEX. On following levels the cycle continues back to 4 STR then 1 DEX then 4 DEX 1 STR. Would this be a good idea to try? b:laugh

    You need 5 str and 3 dex every 2 levels to wear the latest HA and sword. That gives you 2 free points to play with. You are suggesting a 5 STR / 5 DEX build (although in a confusing way - don't know why you don't just say 5 str one level then 5 dex the next ...). That is hardly a full STR build as you are saying you want to do.

    If you want full str, go 7 str 3 dex every 2 levels.

    255 dex at lvl 100? You only need 160 to wear any lvl sword/blade.

    Low vit with high refines is a good endgame build. High refines on anything but endgame gear is a waste of money.

    Look up the seeker skill descriptions and see how much Base Damage affects total damage. Strength only affects Base Damage. High vit seekers lose little when using skills. Strength is mostly important for normal attacks. Which segues into the endless aps seeker debate ...

    if you can afford to restat it later IF you dont like it, i say give it a try. Its your character to have fun with. Im full dex and loving it.

    It's actualy 4 str and 3 dex per two levels for swords and gives you 3 stats to play with. Another way to say it is 2 str 1.5 dex per levels.

    But you're right that 7 str and 3 dex every two levels is pure.

    I was a heavy vit build, 97 vit at level 90, and then as my refines increase I have pulled that from my seeker. So far I still have 30ish vit left, around 360 str, and 180 dex (I got +19 dex on my G15 Morai sword so for 5 dex I got an extra crit %) and it works well for me. I didn't even notice a loss in survivability when pulling from vit because I have defense levels that play a larger role as I lose defenses from restating vitality, and even though less vit means less mdef strength gives more pdef than vitality. Since most the damage I take is physical I actually might be surviving better with more strength and less vit.

    I'll have to say that as a seeker, after reaching endgame you should definitely take the full str build. Seekers need as much dmg as we can get, and u really notice the dmg diffrence between a full str seeker and a vit/hybrid build. Refining your armor will help with hp

    That's a high dex build, not a high str build. You'll average at 2.5 strength and 2.5 dexterity per level. If you want a high strength build, go 3.5 str / 1.5 dex per level. =D
