alright so everytime I try to download the game all the files appear on my desktop instead of in its own file?
I had the game on my computer before but whe I had to send it in to get fixed the company ( dell) completely removed all my game files and such.
when I try to re download it this happens
then after that happens and the download finishes the game gives me an error ( forget what it is so I am re downloading it atm )
help?

Delete those files and use the .torrent method. The fake direct download with Pando media booster sucks big time.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

That's not .rar file it's .torrent file
You need Torrent program to download it.
Use uTorrent - http://www.utorrent.com/
Everything is explained in that post that SylenThunder linked.0 -

1. Download and install torrent software. (I recommend utorrent.)
2. Click on the "Download Torrent" link on the Downloads page.
3. Once the download is finished, go to the directory your completed downloads are in and you will see a file named "PWI_v699_Installer.rar".
This is a compressed file. you will need something to unpack it. (I use ALZip)
If you right-click on the file, there should be an option to "Extract to 'PWI_v699_Installer\'". Click that and it will unpack the file into a directory with the same name as the file.
4. Temporarily disable the active scan for your antivirus software.
5. Once the file is done unpacking, navigate to that folder. (Hint: It should be "utorrent\Downloads\PWI_v699_Installer".
6. In this folder there is a file called "install.exe". Run it. (If you have Vista or newer, right-click and choose "Run as Administrator.)
7. Follow the directions to install the client.
8. After the client is done installing, add the directory where it installed to the exceptions list for your antivirus software. (The default folder location is "C:\Perfect World Entertainment\Perfect World International")
9. Launch the client using the icon that was placed on your desktop during the install and let it update.
8b. Launch the client and then close it before it updates, and then download the manual patches needed to bring the client up to date and install them. (Manual method is about 80% faster than automatic.)
10. Play
Read step 1 carefully. >.<[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Torrents will often start up win a long time period initially. Once it finds more peers though it's typically very fast. I can download the full client via torrent in less than an hour.
The fake direct download is a cloud downloading system just like torent. Unfortunately you're sources are other people with Pando still installed from downloading, and the Cloud storage PWE has subscribed to. For me the "Direct" method typically takes about twice as long as the torrent, and often contains corrupt files because of the lack of reliability in the cloud. (torrent will check MD5 sums, where Pando apparently does not.)[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Is it possible you could provide a guide in youtube for me along with everyone else, would appreciate?0

*sigh* I love these games, they are so colorful and lots of fun. I just wish the direct method didn't use a 3erd party program, I always like to download my games from the companies servers. Then I know it's good.
Arrrgh I'm so nervous about torrenting the games, even if it is a legal, and legitimate torrent.

Heck, Pando Media Booster is essentially a Torrent program. It's just specifically created for the companies. The problem with it is that the seeds are not reliable anymore, the reliable servers that the company supports have been throttled down to almost nothing, and the installer is buggy and the company absolutely refuses to fix such a simple error in it that prevents it from working as it should. (It's not that they can't, it's that they won't. The fix is as simple as removing the autorun file and/or programming the installer to execute install.exe.)
Most major companies with large downloadable clients are moving to this approach. The good ones use their on in-house methods, the bad ones use cheap **** like Pando.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Ach I guess I'll have to decide if I want to torrent the games or not. Do I have to torrent the patches as well? Or does the launcher handle that?0 -

You're much better off downloading the manual patches and working from there.
IIRC, the game download is at version 676 and you will need to update it from there, so I would recommend getting manual patch 676-693, and then it will be up to date.
While in this case it's not a huge amount of updates (17MB), a few months ago it was and the difference between manual and auto was about 4.5 hours. (On manual my laptop updated in 30 minutes, on auto it took 5 hours.)[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0
