Which Skills for DD for PVE?

At the risk of causing a mass /facepalm\ Im going to post this anyway. YES Ive read the guides.

The guides list certain buffs as high priorty and a couple of staces as good, and basically leave all the other skills very under-explained.

What skills besides vortex and gemini slash, do you 95+'s use for big damage? Thats all I want to know, thanks in advance for any replies. I can survive np, but I want to hit harder which is why I'm asking.....

    Heartseeker and Arme Nier are 2 of my favorites. Their damage is right up there with Gemini. Heartseeker is probably my favorite skill. With Celestial Eruption and a crit it hits for anywhere from 30-40k on Pole in Wraithgate.

    I find your question very vague...

    Do you mean pulling large groups of mobs in FF, or are you asking about skills you can add to chains to do more DD?

    Either way here goes, if you are talking about AOE DD'ing, then you have alredy listed the 2 top skill, but you cud also do this handy skill chain if ur low on mp food to do vortex.

    (Parchedblade)>Edged Blur>(Gemini Slash, Ion Spike, Darkcloud Bolt, till u get the stance on the group of mobs)>Stalagstrike> Repeat (if u hav enuff chi)

    For Boss DD'ing, (in case u dont know u shud hav the boss heart and mind shattered at all times, and if u want u can use the crit amp skill from pets), use NSW stance to reduce the defense lvls of the boss by a greater amount than with SM, then pop off an ion spike ----> proceed to facerolling skill chain (idk if others do it but i pop in rock splitting cleave in there too, since it gives u an extra 10 chi) b:thanks

    Maybe you need to find a combo of skills that can all be gotten off under one Blade Affinity click while sparked. Just an idea because I can't think of anything else which would answer your question once you've ruled out vortex and gemini.

    The ranged combo I use meshes cooldowns quite nicely.

    Ion Spike (drop if no sparks) > Battousai > Gemini Slash > Battousai > Arme Nier > Heartseeker > Repeat

    Melee I tend to use the same as above except I use Staggering Strike as soon as I see the NSW debuff icon.

    Ion, Gemini and Arme Nier are really our only big hitting skills, aside from Vortex - all you can do is try to weave other skills during their cooldowns to maximise dps. Not sure if that answers your question or not.
