Sorry for double post but no answer in seeker section.

This weapon seems okay for poor people like me to use while saving for a Nirvy weapon or R8. Please give me your opinion on this weapon compared to others, and its for my seeker. Thanks.

EDIT - I wont add another post, but thanks everyone for your advice; You've convinced me to make those Dragonslayers.

Its a fine blade, but for comparisons to other swords, have you checked Sympathi's Guide?

Yeah I noticed its not mentioned in the guide so was wondering peoples opinion. I'm leaning towards the idea that if I ever get to tw again than the Dragonslayer is an okay weapon, but since Im almost purely pve oriented then then two free Morai weapons are good options.

Im still wondering but, should I use the Morai weapons to farm for a Nirvy weapon and then instead of making a Dragonslayer sell my mats and the Dragon Seekers I was going to decompose to make them. Which means come level 100, using only the Morai weapons I'll be pretty bad in tw. I also like that the Dragonslayer is able to be sold as its not bound.

BUT then I could turn the Dragonslayer into the next level Nirvy weapon - but since I havent explored all the Nirvy options I dont know the path from the Dragonslayer leads to a good weapon or not...........aaaggggggghhhhhhhhh...............to many options b:surrender

First you'll want to look into what you can transform your Dragonslayers into. If their NV form isnt all too appealing to you, then you can sell the Dragonslayer (if you craft it) or sell the Dragonseekers+materials (if you havent) and go for one of the other options mentioned in that guide.

If you're purely PvE (which may not be so since you mentioned the possibility of TWing), you cant go wrong with the Morai swords. Since they're pretty much free, there's no harm in keeping those and the Dragonslayers (assuming you've decided to upgrade to NV with them).

They are a pretty good set of swords. I have a seeker that uses them and they have always got the job done for me, and if you are saving for r8/Nirv they are a good hold over weapon. Since if you turn them to NV you won't have to worry about them being an auto bind since they don't have the stat on them.
All generalizations are false, including this one.

They are great temp swords. They are very effective and cheap to make. I am currently using them on my seeker and I love them. Right now I am just waiting to convert them into a NV wep. If your waiting out for r8 or nirvana wep I would say you should get them. Even if you end up getting r8 you can at least sell the swords for cash.

I personally used the TT90 gold blade Firelotus, Blade of the Dragon for my seeker until I could afford her R8.

It's a nice offensive weapon with zerk on it. That and my personal preference I HATE dual swords on my seeker for aesthetic reasons(Just look at them when you buff and one will glow and the other won't its so annoying >_>). They attack a little slower too.

I dont see any better choices low budget.
G15 morai swords are awesome for pve if your seeker is in lumi, but needs to be lvl101.
I personaly wont recommend r8 for seeker atm since they introduced G16 nirvana.
I would use the dragonslayers, then the morai swords and play till u have the budget for G16 b:nosebleed

This is why I try and only use dual blades/swords. I hate the single sword look lol. One free arm flailing about when attacking looks ridiculous imo lol. Goes to show how differently ppl see things :3
Note : they do attack slower......but they generally hit harder than singles.

Dragonslayers are nice, I used them as temp swords until I got my g15 Morai duals. I see alot of rank8 seekers now using the g15 Morai instead of their rank8 sword, which says how good they are for PvE.
But if you plan to TW, they would be less than stellar. I'd stick with the Dragonslayers and Nirvana them up to g16 if PvP is in your future. You dont say what kind of budget you're on.....going the g13 -> g15 -> g16 route isn't exactly cheap for all the raptures, but would be better than rank8 imo.

And FYI - the first time you Nirvana them to g13 they will turn into single blade/sword or dual blade/sword. So you have that choice the one time upon g13, its not like you're set atm with duals if you dont like them.

    +1 to that

If you like what you can turn the dragonslayer into later on use it.

I myself like having a different weapon than anyone else which is why I still have my tt100 magic sword on my cleric b:pleased

I know how you feel I want to make my dragonslayer swords into a Dimension Splitter NV which would look like this
Scissors cuts paper, paper covers rock, rock crushes lizard, lizard poisons Spock, Spock smashes scissors, scissors decapitates lizard, lizard eats paper, paper disproves Spock, Spock vaporizes rock, and as it always has, rock crushes scissors.
