I almost cried with laughter over this and like 10 people in worldchat followed after.
K so this random person wants to worldchat sell G16 Nirvana Daggers for 625mil. I'm thinking to myself those have to be some damn good add-ons sockets and refines for that cost.
Clicked the link and it was like... +1 range +1% crit and str +16 1 socket 0 refine.
so i put a ^ lol worldchat and like 10 people did after. Quite amusing I should've taken a screenshot of it sadly. I'm sorry no horrible addon g16 weapon is close to that cost.
Hell you could make your own with a chance to gamble better adds for a lot less.
I'll even highball mats for my server specifically.
Lunar weapon Cost ~ 40mil
250 raps x 1.7mil per rap = 425mil
Thats only 465mil for g15 daggers with nothing on it.
Now let's high ball more and offer... 40mil for buying the mold from a squad + 20mil for the essence of offense. That's 525mil +5mil fee and 60 basic badges. Putting you at a total cost of 530mil at highball price.
An extra 95mil for those adds is just so lol.... I'm sorry I'm not usually one to say something like this but wow. People need a brain -_-

Nothing new really. Probably some crazy player trying to see if there's any equally crazy cash shoppers out there with more money than sense.
Over-priced wc's are fairly common. Two recent ones I've seen were g13 vana axes, rubbish refine for 285m and a 2 socket +5 deicide for 120m. Also some idiot frequently selling g15 int vana pants for 20m+ more than the cost to make. Though they actually seem to sell those, so maybe not that crazy after all.0 -

The 95 mil isn't for the adds, it's for defending pavillion, do all bosses and finally the "mold". Atm, the trend is to "merchant" gear and go directly from average TT99/r8 to anything G16 +10 or better. Those who are interested in buying that probably never set a food in Lunar, and maybe occasionally did Metal path in Warsong. On Sanc there are ppl selling the mold + crafting service.
I hope they make G16 nirvana all TT versions and bound to make it gear you must farm a minimum for yourself. I also want to recast my hammers but the G16 are to freaking ugly b:cry.0 -

But that's the thing you theoretically never HAVE to do that. You can just buy the mold from a squad. The only thing you actually have to "farm" is the 60 basic badges which isn't even that hard to do. People find loopholes for everything they can to make a shortcut / quick buck / etc. So the 95mil is solo for the cost of saving the time farming of 60 basic badges which is a bit outrageous considering how easy all of the bosses are.

Im up to 27? 28? Warsong Runs. Im at like a bajillion badges from that and BHs now.
I have yet to see claws or fists. As a matter of fact, outta the people Ive run with...and faction mates, afaik only one has seen claws or fists.
If I saw Claws or Fists made and selling for like 100m above cost without -int: 75% chance Id buy them and delay finishing my helm. I'm sick and tired of warsong and totally jelly of the people runnin around with G16 fists or claws.

I would actually bet that a lot of the merchants simply don't like farming. That or they absolutely refuse to do it unless it's 2x drops, just like almost everyone in the game.
Personally, I find farming to be repetitive and boring. Thus I'd rather spend a little extra to avoid that aspect.I am Olba. Not Ol, not Baze nor Blaze. And even less would I go by Olblaze. Please, take a second to read a person's username.

That fee is reasonable.
Those 10 runs take like 10hours of work to get 60 badges worth. At 95m crafting fee and 1.5m gold thats about 6 gold per hour.
6 dollars per hour is less than the minimum wage in my state which is $7.25 per hour.
A lot of people value their time at higher than the money you get working at McDonalds.
When I farm in game I tend to make almost twice that rate.
And how the hell are essence of offense still 20m on HT? They are 3-4m on Sanc.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I said I was highballing not actual pricing. As in desperate for all of those mats. In another post I stated it would be closer to 40mil cheaper realistically in total cost.

But anyways I could honestly make my own in about a month without much of an effort and use the excess to +10 it and maybe a good shard in it... depends on a few factors but anyways. Essence of offense are cheap because they are worthless without the mold.
You can only get the mold by farming the final boss. If you are capable of farming that boss yourself then there is no reason for you to buy it from others.
The final boss drops 31 kinds of molds so on average it would take around 15 full warsong runs to get a specific mold you are interested in.
On 2x your squad will get 30 essence of offense from those 15 runs which is 5 for every person. You only need 1 for a g16 weapon. The supply of essence in this case is around 500% higher than the demand for essence. The vast majority of essence will never be used for anything.
And again you are thinking that charging 95m for something that saves you 1 MONTH of effort is charging too much? It's not too hard to farm 95m in a day.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

You need essences for each reroll attempt. You don't need a mold for each reroll attempt.
So the demand for the mold is high but once you have it you don't need it anymore.

Even a reroll takes a full 20 basic bages.
Thats 3 and a half full warsong runs worth of badges over which time on 2x your squad gets 7 essence of offense. Even if every single person in your squad of 6 is rerolling their weapon you will STILL have extra offense essence (as long as they're doing full runs).
It gets a little more complicated when you consider that lunar gives you basic badges too but I still think someone who has the g16 weapon is likely to be farming weapon rerolls from warsong.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

There are lots of people that looks absolutely clueless about the very basic of economy.
There are 2 catshop in west dist one close 2-3 meters to another,both are selling about 50 white dyes,one for 3M,the other for 3,5M,and this for WEEKS,the other merchant keep trying to sell the same thing for 3,5M while the other one a few meters away sell the same for 500k less.
Also note that I've always seen both catshops on at the same time,its not like one of em goes off for some hours of the day while the other stays,at least that's from what I've seen.The only way to beat a troll is....to troll him back b:angry0 -

Maybe they are both owned by the same person and one is there to convince you that the one next to it is selling below market value. In reality they are both overpriced.
