seems like people are doing things they weren't supposed to and now there is mass QQ now that the GM's are enforcing their ToS. Oh the irony.

    Shelly is only doing her job which is to enforce the rules of the forums. See her as a cop, they're not making the laws, they're just there to make sure ppl respect them and enforce them. Also just cuz there's GMs doing stuff on weekends dosen't mean that they absolutely have to have a support team working on weekends.

    I generally dont read forums at all but somehow i opened this thread by mistake insted of mine and read this and found it so funny coming from a lvl 105 gooner hahahaha

    I don't think that's the reasons a lot of people are mad, Jen. Speaking for myself personally, I'm pissed because they don't enforce their rules. They left gooners who gained an obvious gaming advantage without punishment. But they want to permaban ini editers who don't do any harm. That's just beyond any logic.

    Perhaps people were sharing .ini files which is now marked as illegal as well. /shrug they've been banning people for .ini for years though, perhaps now they are being more strict about it. People biched they weren't enforcing anything. Now they are enforcing EVERY LITTLE THING. so blame the community on this one.

    Well I'm not going to argue that the gooner punishment was lacking.. however I can see both sides of the arguement and though am not happy accept the outcome.

    Exactly, maybe they should make the classes have a better hair selection and lower the price of boutique hairstyles. Otherwise they make everyone rage about not being able to play!

    I hear all about them and know a few peeps who had it happen mid nirvy wham they just gone and cant log in come to find out was someone saying they sold their accounts lmfao they did no such thing (i know shelly might see this and TSK TSK me ) just dont close it its one of the few palces we can discuss whats worrying us on DW recently mind you its a freaking sunday for crying out loud

    this game dosent have anything Dynamic of any Kind same old stuff daily again and again Instances don't change mobs in that don't change high lvls reap no reward for helping the low lvls and everyone just FCs to 100 !

    Gms i pity them despite they may want to do something cannot do anything at all.

    the Company isnt bothers as mentioned players like RexNero who buy out 1 mnths worth of zen income keeps this fail company going.

    this is same with Ether Saga Online and slowly PWI is falling in its Level as you can see currently that game has its main city empty very empty.

    and please players under false pretenses that server is populated but there is something called alts and that's it just alts is what the game has left!

    Just about everything has an arc. Games especially have one. When a new game comes out, many flock to it in droves, then within a month or so, some find the new game lacks a lot of what they want in a game, and leave, while many continue playing finding the game enjoyable. A game builds its playerbase, until it reaches its pinnacle, then slowly declines.

    PW is no different, and because the vast majority of us that play MMOs, want updates instead of a static unchanged game, devs add content that is sometimes good, sometimes not so good. When a game is fresh, most players aren't in a hurry to level, but instead enjoy the exploration of the digital world. As a game ages, a lot of players have reached a high level, and explore new characters/builds. Since they have already reached high levels on other characters, they tend to want a speedpass so to speak, instead of the rinse and repeat of the game they took a long time to initially level in.

    Again, as a game ages, people grow bored over time. You will have a static fan base that sticks with the game from beginning to end, but new players do become more infrequent and many players eventually leave for other games. It's the nature of the beast, and a lot of the content that devs add, are things we as players ask for. Even hyper stones that were the speedpass for those that wanted to reach end game quickly. We as players are our own best friend and own worst enemy. As the saying goes, be careful what you wish for.

    I don't believe that they bann all or many ini file editors. I believe that they bann many ppl atm because they got ****. I saw many well known high lvl toons lately in wc and with horns spamming russian "free gold" sites. Obviously they got **** and admins bann those accounts. When you sent a ticket you normally get your account back after 1-3 weeks (they will check your IP, from where u sent the ticket, and will compare if it's from the same region where you normally log in).

    I'm sure even IF someone gets banned for editing ini files it won't be a perma bann. They know that many teens are playing this game and will give them a view chances to come back (there was once a table in ToS where you could see the "bann systems". If i remember right, first bann was just a view hours, next a day, next a view days, then weeks, then months, finally perma bann for the darwin award recipients which are really not able to learn.)
    The pocket money from teens is still money so I'm sure you all will be able to come back :P

    My main got can't mentioned today & I wait to see why, I never go to the free sites and report them whenever I can but toon was booted. I do not change files or any of that stuff. I was on Lost server..seems alot happened there also.

    Yeah I heard that from several players now that they got **** but never visited a "free gold" site. I also would like to know where the leak is and how we can avoid it. Maybe a fan site got ****/infected with a troyan/keylogger. I know that I could use the virtual keyboard
    at the input mask of the client... but it's so uncomfortable..

    PWE did make profit, maybe it still does, i dont know about their stock ratings.
    That profit is going to end really soon. Again, due to their own d00chery.
    There is content up to level 150, so its not like they have used all their potential traps to attract players.

    PWE focussed to much on short term. PWI could have gone on for at least 2 more years. And maybe they will, as long as there are players like Rex. But when the servers become empty, players like Rex dont have an audiance to show off to anymore, and they will leave.

    The only next step i am expecting from PWI is an announcment that they are closing all server forever.


    Im not even a pure hater. The game itself isnt that bad, its the support that lacks in every way possible.
