Quick Question about g16 Vana..

Hey all

I got a question about g16 Vana gear.. I have g15 vana gear which is Bound, if i make it to g16 will I be able to sell it or as soon as i make it g16 will it get bound even if i dont wear the g16?

I have asked multiple people, most of them say it will still get bound as soon as i make it but there are few who says it wont so i am confused.. Can someone who has actually tested it confirm what would happen?

I dont want to make it if i cant sell it..

    Gear that was already Bound will remain so after being re-forged, be they bound upon equipping (TT) or having a binding charm used on them. If it is a piece of gear that binds upon being equipped but has not been equipped yet, it can still be sold.

    If you didnt want to deal with gear binding on equip entirely, the Lunar route would have been a better choice.

    You can't sell which is why the majority of the people told you that it would also be bound. Once you bind an item it remains bound for all of it's incarnations. It really wouldn't make sense if it became unbound because you improved it anyway. Just think of it that way and it won't seem as annoying.

    ahh oki thanks for the replies.. i was hoping it unbinds so i can make money by selling it since i got r9 it no use to me now.. but o well ima keep it in bank maybe it will be of some purpose in future.

    One thing many people on my server do is offer to make the item for people for a fee. They have to provide the g15 nirvana and essence but you can make it for them using your mold/badges.

    g14 Jungle belt is the only exception.

    Yea some people do that on our server too, but personally i cant be bothered, i play for fun not as a duty and doing the same thing everyday (farming warsong everyday in this case) becomes a monotnous duty which totally defeats the purpose of me playing a game..

    I only had 1 vana piece so i got 30 odd badges from bh metals and a couple of full warsongs so i thought i cud get some money but apparantly i was wrong :(

    Ehh, technically that's not actually "Bound" but rather has a status of Unable to be traded.

    If you use a binding charm on the g14 belt to make it "Bound" the resultant g15 belt will also come out "Bound". Some people do this to prevent gear from being 'accidentally' sold to an NPC.
