Ranged Pets?

Aside from the cacti and eldergoths, are there any pets whose normal attacks are ranged?

I am currently imagining a "worst-case scenario" in which I end up being unable to find people to help me with bosses like Krixxix in the future, and their physical melee attacks HURT.

Solution: Force them to use magic attacks with a ranged pet (does this even work?). But if I'm getting one, I want a nice one. :T

Hey, I think they're really cute. I was just wondering if the two types I mentioned were the only ranged pets. But if there really aren't any others, I'm definitely getting a cactopod because I don't want a gorilla following me around. xD

Some mobs do indeed prefer to use a ranged attack rather than running up to their target. I do seem to recall Krixxix being one of them; and an eldergolth working out pretty well.

Eldergolth and Cacti are the only ranged pets I'm aware of.

Just eldergoths (and only 2 of the 3 tameable eldergoths, the warriors are melee) and cactopods are ranged. The lower level cactopods are very short range, but hardier than the higher level ones, but sadly not as hardy as the eldergoths.
