You can interrupt any spell during channeling time.

Any hit of melee or ranged weapon is faster than fastest spell.

3 or more powerfull spells interrupted by you can mean death of the caster.

Also casters have very small evasion, because most of them have Arcane build.

    Example:
Caster has 4% evasion, so he can evade every 25th hit.
You hit 2 times per second or can be evaded by caster once per every 13th second.
Caster can cast 6 spells (for example) during same time and if you can interrupt at least one of those spells, then caster is in big disadvantage in comparison with you.

I don't have any problems with my evasion, your equipment helps give you higher evasion which makes it easier for you to dodge spells and attacks. So it don't matter if you do an arcane build on your magic user, you can always make sure your equipment have the evasion stats.

Any form of damage based on magic attack cannot be dodged, that's what the OP is suggesting against.

Higher level arcane armor also doesn't have any evasion stats (thank goodness).

Roll a sin or demon mystic. They have skills that let you dodge magic or at least turn it to 1 damage.

Too bad that +DEX on endgame arcane armor is just as uncommon as evasion.

I'm guessing OP was talking from a PvP point of view, it would just be unfair for a caster to channel a spell and have it miss when APS built characters have high DEX stat causing high accuracy so they would even easily be able to destroy an arcane build who should hopefully not have any DEX + evasion.

Toliman had the correct idea, interrupt the channeling using a skill, that is why PWE made them... aka stop being lazy and learn your class/skills.
