Embracing?

I'm reallyy new here, and I'm just confused about this embracing option.
I've recieved requests for embraces, and when I accept them, nothing happens. The guy just runs away ...
So under what circumstances can you embrace? and what's the purpose of it?

    Embracing has three main purposes: taking into account only male/female couples can embrace, you can -

    * embrace for chi; aside from duelling without weapons equipped and using several skills, apothecary items or genie skills, it is the fastest way to fill up your chi bar.

    * embrace to carry someone on your mount/with your wings or other aerogear; only male toons get to do that however. Meaning, if you're a female toon and you want to embrace someone to carry them quickly from point A to point B because you have faster wings/mount, you can't ( which sucks -.- ). However, females can still ask to BE carried.

    * the universal "cuddle"; pretend it's pixels making out with each other.

    In order for it to work, you need to stand/fly/sit reasonably close to the person you want to embrace.

    it probably just means ure very pretty, else they wouldn't ask to embrace u.
    another thing: have to stand still and close to each other if u want to embrace each other.

    and beware of embracing again whilst already in someones arms - unless you want to give them a smoochy kiss with hearts flying everywhere....
