Nirvana Caster (Question about the pet position)

I'm almost 100 so i'll be able to do caster, in some videos i saw the mystics go put the pet behind the boss, i'm a lil nob and i wanted to know the reason.

    The only reason I could think of would be because the bosses in question had frontal aoes, but if that were the case I'm not sure why the squad members without aggro wouldn't stand behind it as well unless storm was the one with aggro.

    I personally have never done this or seen it done but now that you bring it up I would also like to know, which video did you see this on? I wouldn't mind having a look :)

    That's a video from a previous post about caster without cleric, at the second boss (third for some people) and the last boss they go place mistress behind the boss.

    From what I can tell, having Mistress behind the mob spawning boss, second/third I dunno, is to protect her from that swirling brown tornado AoE which I will try out now I have noticed this because my Mistress always dies there.

    As for the final boss, I can't quite make out why they put them behind there? Maybe to stop them from getting the slow channeling debuff?

    Anyone from the video like to share the real reason?

    As wannabe mystic i just want to be good and know what i do and why, i don't want do something i saw without know the reason of doing it, so i prefer ask. :)

    I saw this video a while back and have been using the trick all the time. Basically it makes it much easier to keep the mistress alive if you are having trouble with that. I use it on the 3rd and last boss and it does very well.

    On another note I am still finding mystics who have no clue how to play in caster. Yesterday the mystic had Devil out all the time b:cry
