Heya guys. I was gonna try to solo FF on my aps barb but i was just wondering what kind of combo would be the best for BR pull and other major ones like Assassins & magic hallway?

I was first thinking of invoke > spark > demon sunder > (ToP) > arma > slam/swell. But after that im dead clueless of what to do afterwards.
Should i go back to tiger & do Surf? I think that the cooldown on Bestial rage should be over by then and you can try to redo the combo without invoke.
How do you guys do it if your into this at all, or what kind of attacking combo would u recommend? Thnx before hand.

This is the combo i use when soloing BR, if you have Blood Rush (Lumi Skill) Use this just before you pull everything. When you have done that invoke->chi gain-->spark-->mire-->sunder-->surf-->stand (top if your genie has enough hp)--> Arma. If still not dead then swell and slam will help as well and dont forget to use the 15 second damage resist pot after you arma or kiss yourself goodbye.

My barb has about 18k hp and with just invoke->Sunder->ToP-> Arma almost all the mobs are dead so that complicated of a chain is more Delta oriented.

You mean the 15 sec damage resist pot cus you lose 50% hp/mp when you arma?
What if you would arma together with BP?

@Saku Is 18k HP your barb in Tiger or standing?

Btw, Blood rush, how does that skill work exactly? 8% dmg increase per attack you take x 20 must mean you gain a 160% dmg increase when they all stack together, would your Patk go from 5000-10000 to 13000-26000? Or lets say you do 3k damage it becomes 7.8k with all of it stacked?

    Just a couple of advice...

You may consider to add surf impact right after you spark. (it add some extra damage to the combo & also allocates the one-second needed to refill you chi back to full between the time you finish casting your triple-spark & the time you click on demon-sunder)

You may also consider using tangling mire if you have enough genie vitality (reduce p-def of all the mobs, rumors also says that TM glitches your accuracy to 100% on all affected mobs)

If you are running out of ideas of what to do while the mobs are still far from being dead after the combo (40k+ hp left on mobs), just run around big room for a dozen seconds until the cooldown of bestial is done and re-start the combo (note: invoke will still be halfway through its cooldown, you may use solid shield - genie skill- as alternative) (note: dont run around for too long, mobs auto-resets after 2 mins or so)

If the mobs are much lower on hp (less than 15k), you can finish them off with bestial onslaught + surf/slam/swell without much effort.

or if you are confident enough, skip the 'triple-spark' part and just focus all the damage into a 'one-shot' arma (all mobs dies after in 'one-shot').
There are many ways to further inflate the damage of the demon-sunder-arma combo... have any morai weapons (extra slaying level), have jones blessing (extra attack level), switch to a +5% Hp necklace (instead of TT99 HA/LA necklace for aps) so as to inflate your hp as much as possible, and so on, and so forth...

Blood rush can add up to 160% WEAPON damage (not to confuse with actual base physical attack)..... Weapon damage is the damage given by the value written when you hover your mouse over the weapon icon in the equipment inventory (+ shard & ring damage value). While actual base physical attack is the physical attack value found in the character stats window.

If you weapon damage is [1000-2000] damage,
300 strength will add 200% weapon dmg to base physical attack (physical attack increased by +[2000-4000])
Demon titan and axe mastery will add 75%+40% = 110% weapon damage (physical attack increases by +[1100-2200])

So, your Base Physical Attack (also called as normal auto-attack) would be [4100-8200] (just add all of the above)

Triple spark (750% weapon damage) will improve base physical attack from [4100-8200] dmg to [11600-23200] dmg.

Blood rush (160% weapon damage) will improve base physical attack from [4100-8200] dmg to [5700-11400] dmg (or improve triple-spark attack from [11600-23200] to [13200-26400] dmg)

About Tree of Protection (ToP).... I would suggest that you use it right before turning into human form instead of using it while being in human form. Just a little comparison:

    1. Sunder->Human form->TOP->Arma (ToP when you are already in human form)
Lets say that you have 10k in human form. Starting the combo in demon tiger form will give you 13k/13k hp... when you switch to human form, maximum hp will deflate back to 10k, "FORCING" your current hp 10k/10k as well. TOP will then inflate the maximum hp to 13k while your current HP will still be at 10k/13k. At that instant, hit arma. 3 Seconds later, you will recover 2k from TOP to increase your current hp to 12k/13k... then arma land down on the mob... notice that there is still 1k hp missing from the inflated maximum hp. Hence, arma will only hit at 92% of full damage potential.

    2. Sunder ->TOP->Human form->Arma (ToP while still in tiger form)
Start with 13k in tiger form, Top will inflate the maximum hp to 13k/16k. Switch to human form... maximum hp will be deflate back to 13k/13k. Hit the arma button. Few sec later, you will recover any hp lost to mobs. Arma will now land at 100% damage potential.

Last Note: It takes a lot of practice to get a prefect "Timing" on the arma combo, just have to be patient and start with the simplest: sunder+arma on the FC assassins, get it right, then start work on refining the "Timings" on the genie skills for big room.

Thanks for the reply, appreciate the response and how detailed you said it. I will most definitely work on my timing and practice the pulls more and more to increase my knowledge on how to properly do it with my character. Thanks for also explaining on how Blood Rush works, always wondered on how it really increases your damage.
The ToP tip is definitely good to have in mind.

Magna has some really great advice, especially about timing ToP to get the best results. :)

Invoke>Rage>Tangling Mire>Demon Sunder>Demon Arma, everything is usually dead afterwards. Follow up with Slam to finish mobs or get them off you if Invoke runs out, but most will probably be dead by then. For the magic pull, if a lot of mobs are left after Sunder+(ToP)Arma, then maybe spark beforehand, like in your original combo, or use AD/Solid Shield after Arma and close in on the remaining mobs. I don't recommend slamming them unless you are certain they will die (really wish Swell and/or Firestorm were radial AoEs xD).

I really suggest Mire as you will get AoE 100% accuracy and, depending on the amount of strength your genie has, an AoE Pdef reduction as powerful as Devour or even better.

Blood Rush is great, but for the bigger pulls in FF, it usually runs out before I start attacking... If you do 2 smaller pulls, it will probably last and really gives a nice boost to Sunder, Slam, etc.

17.5k tiger form (forgot I just switched out some shards) and 14.4k standing. That's 21k with my ToP active. Still, that's plenty enough to drop the entire room in one Sunder+Arma combo if timed right.

And Blood Rush adds weapon damage, not overal daamge. For me, I have the Morai G12 (working on Morai G15) and its only +4 so roughly 500-1100 weapon damage, 3900-6200 physical attack. The 160% would apply to the 500-1100 weapon damage, making it add 500x160% to 1100 x 160% = 800 to 1760 more damage. So 4700-7960 would become my physical attack.

I see. I got 15.5k in Tiger and im using +4 Calloused Lionheart Hatchets with 2 perfect garnets in em. Working on G15 morai aswell.

Oh, one thing to consider is Blood Rush does nothing for your Armageddon. The SS on your tt90 gold or the slaying levels in my Morai do.

Yeah, im aware of how Arma functions. Even if i had a R8 polehammer id switch to TT90 gold for the arma.
