Really PWI?

I know i'm not supposed to discuss bans on the forums, so i'm not mentioning any names here. But this pretty much should be the concern of the entire Raging Tide Server.

So a friend of mine got banned. Her offense? Getting EG eyes <.<. Banned for how long? 16666667 minutes!!! That's frigging 36 years!!b:shocked. Did she get a warning? No. Just a straight ban

Half the Server have EG eyes and even a good bunch of them have all other kinds of makeovers from editing .ini files and you guys are Banning only a select few people for doing that.Just cuz some Butthurt jealous brat can't get the same for their toon and reports the same, u guys ban people without warning for 37 years (basically a perma ban)!!

    16666667/60 (60 min in 1 hour)=277777.78 hours/24 (24 hours in 1 day)=11574,07 days
    11574,07/365 (that many days in 1 year)=31,7 years.
    if i did something wrong, plz say, maybe its a lil more cause of every 4 hers 1 day extra...
    still, try talk to them and lure that person who SS's all time

    Hmm...i wonder why the mods closed that thread lol. Well yeah if the mods are reading this so yeah, this IS an issue with PWE GMS or whoever it is who fling's the ban hammer. If u're going to ban people for making .ini edits then better ban half the playerbase without warning instead of isolating a single unfortunate person who's just done what the rest of the people have done.

    Thanks, just asked her to do that. Hopefully by monday she'll get a positive response. Sucks that she's missing 2x because of this tho :(

    xD my bad, math is my weak subject. And what's the point of luring the person who SSed and reported? They already know who it is and he/she's protected under anonymity. Besides the main issue ain't with the person who reported. It's either that PWI GMs have no idea of what's going on in the game or that they just have a twisted sense of justice.

    Imo, if PWE doesn't want people to change .ini files. They should let the community know, the same way they let the community know about the SP pk ban.

    Bans aren't to be discussed on the forums. If your friend wants to revoke the ban she can contact the team via email at customerservice@perfectworld.com.
