BH100 GV2 Glitch?

I'm trying to do BH100 GV and we've now tried to enter as a squad four times. First me and sin d/c and can't even force log for 2 minutes. Then sin d/c's and can't even force log for 2 minutes. Then twice in a row ep d/c's and can't connect for 2 minutes. Everybody who didn't d/c made it into the instance. Anybody know what the heck is going on!?

    It has been like it for ages and you are lucky with only 4 tries, been in squads before its taken us 7 chances to get in

    It's just like some people call TT HH some people still call barbs werebeasts(wb) and venos werefoxs(wf) clerics elf priests (ep) etc etc. You should know the old school terminology though it is dieing out sadly.

    Btw this is a common glitch that occurs quite more frequently in 1k streams then Arch. I've noticed if it happens once everyone has the "bug" attached to them.

    The best results I have had is to actually have everyone relog and resquad with a new leader and use the ARCH elder again even though you got ported out to 1k. Just what I've noticed.

    Took me four tries to get a squad that wouldn't DC when trying my wave 4 culti for my sin.
    Then we decided to go for wave 9 (seeker was R9-rest of squad medium to weak but he could carry us).
    On wave 6 the BM leader DCed- there went the GV... b:angry

    DCing in GV has gotten worse since the last major update.

    Isn't it caused by someone flying or being on a mount?

    That's the only time I've ever had problems starting GV or Delta b:chuckle was when people were on a mount or in the air

    Want to solve alot of my problems? On your computer Click - Start - now click - Run - now type - cmd - now type - format c: - If you are using Windows Vista or 7 please be sure you run as administrator.

    Generally the most common issue is when your character is not on the ground with their feet or in the middle of something.
    This includes but not limited to.

    Being on a mount
    Flying
    Trading
    Casting a skill
    Dual-Cliented (sometimes)
    Embracing (prevents both from entering if embraced 100% of the time)
    Inspecting someones gear as you are porting(This also crashes your game if you teleport somewhere and try to inspect someone right after before you are teleported.)
    Looking into a catshop as you are porting (This also crashes your game if you teleport somewhere and try to open a catshop right after before you are teleported)

    Tell that to the majority of the LC server. Where most of them think they are "old school" (yet the irony is maybe 5% of them actually played PW before PWI was released.)

    It hapend to me many times to be out from GV sq and all were inside but not me and it seems from last update this bug is worse :( I dont believe they fix this bug fast even update ranking list on site take ages (my ep and my sin not on list even I am 103 from long) so I dont espect anything. So let it be.

    GV is what is now delta isn't it? unless i'm mistaken. i'm surprised people chastise others for not knowing the name of the old instance when NO ONE has even bothered to say what it is now. ijs

    We use the old terminology on lc server - and the prob is exactly...? There is no prob? So you just complain to complain? kk, got it.b:laughb:laugh

    If you even can't understand or memorize an in-game terminology like this, better stay away from our server, I would appreciate it, I prefer ppl with way more than just one brain cell.

    I wasn't complaining about using the old terms, I'm a veteran player since before the Age of Spirits expansion, thats well over 3 and a half years and I'm familiar with the names. What i'm saying is several "newer" players, that have not been around long enough to know, have asked what GV is and no one has answered. GV is what is now the delta instance for those who were asking.

    For one, majority of the people on the server have to be people who never played MY-EN.
    For two, there's nothing in-game, other than the people, who would point to the terminology, thus it's confusing to anyone new.

    Isn't that a bit misleading, since GV is used to refer to all Rebirths? Just that the only popular one is Delta for BH and cultivation.

    lol been here since day 1 and nvr heard it called GV before, since i was a wee willy winky lvl 70 or so its always been called RB...delta is just the lvl of RB you go into....must just be a server lingo that people understand on one server and not another

    I see GV all the time in world chat (afraid to say WC lol).

    I made a char on a different server and saw everybody talking about Vana gear, took me a second to realize they mean Nirvana, which is NV @ Lost City. I think it's very server specific. But...OMG, it took me a whole second. Les gasp.

    Few people would even blink if I asked for EA or EP or WB or WF 100+ for BH GV2 on Lost City.

    My personal record to date: 13 tries. We got in on the 14th.

    We tried:

    - relogging
    - resquadding
    - resquadding with different leader
    - resquadding with different leader and 1 different squad member
    - getting in from Arch
    - getting in from 1k Streams
    - unequipping weapons
    - not doing anything for 1 minute and then trying to get in
    - piling on top of the NPC in 1k
    - standing a bit away from the NPC in 1k

    Frankly, I was ready to perform a Voodoo dance at around Attempt #10 or so, or to sacrifice something small, cute and fluffy, just to get in. If my squad hadn't been completely amused by our inability to set foot in that instance, which in turn amused me, I think I would've ragequit after the 5th try or so.

    On Lost it's call GV (and what ever wave 2, 3, 4, 5, or Full).

    HH is called "HH".

    And Frost is called... uhm... "WTS: Big Room" now. b:laugh

    erm i can click a shop right before i teleport and game won't crash, can check someone's gears right before i i teleport and not crash and can fly/be on mount and enter delta without having bug appear...

    I didn't say it was 100% other then embracing. That will always cause an issue. b:surrender

    As for the game crashing from those 2 things. It used to have a bug where if you were teleporting somewhere and tried to open another window (catshop/someone else's gear) your game would crash from some kind of conflict. /shrug

    For all I know that could finally be fixed but I'd rather not purposefully try to cause that issue when I have other things to do.

    The only thing I have found to help stop this bug repeating is to not buff outside. If someone has the d/c bug, the minute they get back just gather at the NPC and port in quick. Buff once inside instead. So far this has always worked for me.

    This bug wouldn't be so annoying if it didn't disable the force log feature. They really should do something about it (but that is asking too much I am sure).

    Lot of abbreviations are server specific like that. Took me a while to get used to HT server when I switched from HL. Even boss names were different. VIP = Manta, Khewy = Rattus, Oggo = Quilhog.

    I don't think using the old abbreviations is any more confusing to new players than RB, FF, FB, BH, TT, etc are. I see as many people asking what 'RB' is, as would ask what 'GV' is. It's really only on the forums where it creates a bit of a language barrier.
